Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a white 2001 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor with 104672 miles on it. I owned and drove this car about 13k. I put brand new brakes all around at 98k and a new power steering box in at 100k. It passed Connecticut emissions in March of 2014. There are no check engine or warning lights on. The reason I am selling it is because I bought another car--this has a tranny fluid leak that has caused it to start slipping. If the car is warmed to normal temperature there is nothing the matter with it, but when it is cold the tranny slips a little bit. I'm pretty sure if you flushed the fluid (tranny fluid is dirty) and fixed the leak this car would be fine. Right now, as is, it slips about the first minute or two of driving, then it warms up and runs perfectly. Aside from the transmission there are a couple of small issues. One--there is an egg on one of the front tires' sidewall--you would need to purchase a single tire to safely operate this vehicle. Otherwise, it has three good Coopers on it. Also, the blower fan only works on high--on low and medium nothing blows but the heat is very hot and the A/C is charged and is ice cold. There is one small rust spot on the front left wheel well. This was a Massachusetts State Trooper's vehicle that has the P71 package, so it has the 'cow catcher' on the front which is a great safety feature in addition to the bumpers. It also has dual exhaust, heavy duty suspension, and heavy duty brakes. I am selling this with no reserve. I have title in hand, drive the vehicle home. Please email me with any questions. I am asking for a $200 deposit via Paypal, then cash or bank check for the remainder. Good luck!
