Here we have a Volvo project in the mandatory shadow grey primer. Its a shade darker than the usual volvo grey primer and I find it quite becoming. This is the old "my son took it apart to restore it" disaster that we are all accustomed to. All the parts are here and add an extra gauge set and horn button to the mix. The trunk is rusty as all get out and will take a skilled metalworker to get it right. Or just handle it yourself with the trusty shears and build your own stuff. The engine turns by hand and as the days go by I can see if she will fire. The car was "running when parked" in 1989 and yeah you know. Supposedly it is a motor from a P1800 and went like a scalded dog in its day, Yes in 85, the 2 lovers met and enjoyed warm nights in the apple orchard snuggling and guzzling cheap beer. Time went by and the young couple grew old. had kids and now drink fine wine. Alas the volvo was never repaired under their stewardship. Are you the right person to bring it back? Harris
