Vehicle Detail

PLEASE NOTE: car is being relisted due to the winning bidder being a fake bidder. Please, real bidders only – thank you. This is a 1965 Mustang Fastback factory "A" code 4 spd car being listed with NO RESERVE! The engine currently has a two barrel carb on it and the trans was switched to an automatic. The clutch pedal assembly is still in the car if you wish to convert it back to a 4speed in the future. This car has been through fresh resto work in 2013/2014 and thousands have been spent. As you can see the car looks great. Unlike most mustang fastbacks, the front and rear framerails on this car are in good shape as are the shock towers. The underneath is very clean. Under the car there is a new gas tank, new metal, gas and brake lines, rear brake hose and brake cylinders, and exhaust pieces. There is also new leaf springs, bushings, shackles as well as new shocks all around the car. The outside is very clean with a new windshield, new front and back window weatherstrip, new chrome such as the front bumper, door handles, gas cap, etc. The cars color and stripes makes it stand out above most. For full disclosure, there are a couple of white overspray shadows on top of the paint from when the white stripes were done although its minimal and hard to see (see pictures, example the door). I chose not to do anything about it because it wasn't noticeable enough for me to bother. The new owner can decide if they want to wet sand the white off and spot clear it. I chose not to put the rear window trim on because it gives it a racier look but it is included with the car. The car needs a trunk lock cylinder however a new trunk lock housing is included along with some new door weatherstrip. The inside of the car is very presentable. The pass seat has two punctures at the upper area as shown and is missing the radio as I had planned to go with a modern one. The interior has new carpet and door panels and is very clean. The engine compartment is clean and solid and ready for any cruise night. The factory stamped "A" code VIN is clear on the apron. There is no door tag for the car. I misplaced it and if I can find it I will include it but assume it’s gone for good. It’s typical for mustangs to have these plates missing as poor doors are replaced or as cars are painted. New door plates are inexpensive and easy to get if that’s your thing. There is a new master cylinder and for safety a new wiring harness and engine harness have been installed and look great. This car is a great car and ready for a new owner. As with any car that’s had resto work done this car has very limited miles on the work and you should expect to have to do some tinkering as you begin to use it. I have driven it a short distance and it felt tight, starts right up and idles nicely. The Trans shifts good but I noticed that the linkage seems a little lose so may need some adjustment. The left front brake seems to pull a little and may just need adjustment as many of the brake parts are new. I would suggest the new owner to check it out fully and drive it locally to work out any potential kinks before driving it any kind of distance. Much of the work was done before me, so I would check it out before taking a trip. Selling the car as is - where is. Ebay makes you choose a title type to list cars, however there is NO TITLE with this car. Car is being sold with an official CT BILL OF SALE - FORM H-31 ONLY. CT does not issue title for cars this old so check your local registry before bidding. In order to bid on this car, you cannot have negative feedback and must have a PayPal account. Please ask questions before bidding. A $200 PayPal deposit is due immediately following auction end, full payment due within 7 days of auction end, and pick up within 3 weeks of auction end. Buyer is responsible for coordinating vehicle pick up. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION – GOOD LUCK!
