Vehicle Detail

this is a 1983 Porsche 930 factory turbo 3.3 liter intercooled turbo 4-speed with a slant nose super rare 928 - S front nose imported from Germany.. has approx.: 83k org miles, fully optioned from new, power windows, locks, ac sys, ect..... For video copy past this link http://youtu.be/aJOwdrFM3bM the vin number does not recognize ebays standards as this is a Germany car that is imported and exotic, so they told me to post it up here, I will also supply a pict of a clean and clear texas title, and will be available to transfer to any state you like with zero issues, you will may need to pay your standard fees when you register it, ( plates, title fees, and or taxes where actable ) taxes on it has been paid here in full for it when last registered, texas vin number: WP0ZZZ93ZDS000-231 would ask before u guys read this entire add for sale, that you will be serious, and please have funds available prior to making a bid, as the last winner had made me wait over 10 days and no payment to the car, so I will NOT wait an additional 10 days, full payment will be needed with in 72 hours of auction ends, and a non-refundable deposit of 1000 dollars to my pay pal account, so I know that u are serious, hope u can understand, as this is not a regular Porsche you will ever see again on the open market, history of the car itself, ok, this is a long list guys, so please bare with me as I don't want to leave anything out, for the complete description, condition, issues, drivability, and so forth, after countless of research of this Porsche, there is nothing here in the U.S, on it, so, ive called in Europe, and Germany for all the info, and talking to the dealers there, the car had a price tag in the upwards range of 170k plus, (dealer mark up) as this 83 was the first and only year the owner can order there Porsche how they wanted it, as far as the options, this Porsche has all the 930 options, plus a few extras factory ordered that are extremely rare, has the 4 side single port on the drivers side, not 1 but 2 oil coolers, 1 rear and also a front factory mounted cooler, the car is 100% matching numbers, as the motor is 13 digits from the factory vin, as it was hand selected to perform the way a super car should be and perform,, so its not your stock 330hp, has about additional 20-25 extra from the factory, so between 350-355hp, as u Porsche guys know that its the dx-50 package, the front slant nose was made in Germany, it is super light weight and factory as there is was told only 7 ever made, built, and crafted, and its one by far the most exotic 930 ever built and more rarer, as far as demand, the other owners had not took there cars on the open market, called a few auctions, and they said we needed 1 of them to pop up on the auction block to start the era prices and we can go from there, as the value will be set here, the 928 was the super car back in the day, and people wanted the look of the frog eyes and the power of a turbo, so Porsche made 7 of them which all had the upgrades and power to them all, ive found one of its sisters 930's in London, also in black, emailed the guy and asked if it was for sale, just to get an idea of his value? he told me never, deleted the pict and deleted his email address, lol, he posted it on a website on the 930 forum club, same vin and last number I believe was 232, was amazing to see, weather there is a few more in the states hidden away or in some ones garage or private collection, remains to be seen, its rare guys, very rare, the gas filler is located in the front trunk, so at the gas station u must pop open the hood and fuel up as its hidden which is more rarer then the norm, the car was shipped into texas back in 1983 to early 84, was taken back with the org owner in the mid 2000 and again brought back in the U.S in 2007, as the guy was in love with it, has the D.O.T stamped and labeled to show proof, (engine bay) area, which is bar coded by Porsche, condition of car, the body: the body is in good shape, no body damages, no body fillers I can see, no waves or flaws, now it will need a new paint job, as its never been painted before and looks like its first one, so the picts look nice, but has scratches in the paint, has a few chips in the paint, so it will need one that is no question, don't need one asap, but to make it nice that was my plans, the powertrain: the motor sounds beautiful, I will post up a small video clip of the motor running and sounding just nice, it has just under 83k, and has been well cared for, I also know its seen the auto bond in its life, as the turbo is new and upgraded to a nice one, as far as psi is concerned, I have no idea, but know it works great and spools up nice! transmission, shifts good, seems like the shifter cable could use a adjustment, all 5 gears all good, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and reverse, all sinkros work great, no grinding or issues there. front suspension: the steering is just amazing, had the car parked and turned off, I could turn the wheel with 1 finger as its off, the front shocks are good and are bilstine, good bushing and no leaks I can see, had on a rack to, rear suspension; bilstines in the rear performance, good calibers, new brakes performance top dollar 250,00 for the pads alone, good bushings and suspension, brakes: 4-wheel disc brakes 4 calibers, again new pads all around, stops on a dime, I also am doing a bleeding with new fluids and rear brake hoses, has new I believe bare disc cross drilled slotted rotors that are also brand new . interior: all factory and 930 sport seats, rear seats are clean, all leather has no rips or tears, would rate it a 8 out of a 10 for condition, not perfect but are nice, door panels and all seals to the car are in great shape, performance: don't really know, as when I bought it from a local wealthy guy here, he had pretty much no history on it and just paid the org owner all in cash and never asked for info, so ive took it maybe 1 mile since ive got it around the corner a few times and back into my garage, only hit it lightly in 2nd gear and flew me back into my seat, so let off and never went fast around my neighborhood again, (25 m.p.h area) exhausts sys: since its here in the united states, the original owner had installed a upgraded exhaust sys that seems from a Porsche 911 turbo with the catalytic converter, and sounds great! a 4k upgrade alone, as when I driven it, it was running a little poor, took to shop and said both of my fuel pumps went south, so paid almost 2k for factory 930 turbo bosch pumps along with a new filter, started it up and sounds just beautiful now, seems like bad gas was the corporate, also had repaired a fuel pump fuse issues, new iner cooler seal rings, plus a few more others was done, so with the full legal 911 turbo exhaust sys, new upgraded turbo and the factory upgraded options, it might be in the upwards of 360-400hp, but not sure, I only know this car was well cared for, and will need a Porsche guy who can tune this up the way it should be, wheels and tires: well, these are literally some of the best in the world, just please look them up to understand, cost was over 10k alone, was offered 6500 here locally, had passed on the sale, ( from a pelican local Houston guy here ) they are the super deep dish, special made for this car, took over 5 weeks to make, light weight crafted, tires has under 200 miles, also new, I also have the reserve the rights to delete this add at any time, as its listed here locally, and or will take the higest offer, as ive gotten offered a few offers here locally by the shop ive taken it to, plus word by mouth, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask or call me any time, and again, for picts, info, I will be here for you, and again please to serious buyers only and will leave good to serious owner, or negative to any non payments. car is a non smoker from all owners including myself, never no one under 30 years old got behind the wheel of this exotic, last owner told me that the first question that was asked, the value according to the book is 72k low to upwards of 120k, that's without all the rareness and options it has from Porsche, so I am letting it go to best offer and auction, as this will be one of the best sound investments here on ebay, with the right guy who buys it, it can bring in the ball park to 175k to 225k, once all done, I just don't have the time or the room as I have a ton of other projects im working on, (classics) ive also called a few collectors to see what there opinion was from chasing classic cars on tv, and other top tv series auctions, they all requested picts, I have not sended them because I cant afford to wait 3 months, 1 guy offered to invest 15k just to make her pristine and then take to auction in Beverly hills, so if not sold here will take that deal and have this 930 taken to California for the paint job and refurbishing to it all, so this is it guys, bid with security in mind as this is no loss, its a true investment and knowing that you have one of these cars...... if your the lucky owner, I will accept a legal bank check, bank transfer, or straight cash also to be verified in person, comes with a clean title, spare keys, have the factory euro rear tail light and also US ones, new used front head light motor, this one works good but is week, so ordered a good used one from a 1982 Porsche 928 model here on ebay from a well known Porsche place, and is included, plastic car cover, soft car cover with rain and weather protection, full manual cd on everything on this car, plus more to include, shipping I would strongly suggest a enclosed transporter, not opened, as this car gets so much attention every time I have it into my drive way, people stop and take picts all the time and a few knocked on my door just to see it, had my classic shipped from florida to Houston for 1200 closed and protected and was only 72 hours to deliver, I will update video links in a few days for you, more picts on all I have also before the auction ends, out of the country buyers, I will help with dock, and help you on anything that you need, so no worries there, just funds will need to clear prior to shipment on in state and out of state, thank you guys for reading, john 832-517-0182 Houston tx, i have a few updates that been asked and questions needed, so i would like to post them all on ebay so everyone can see, questions about the car asked, is the car a factory slant nose or a add on? i am going to be 100% truthful with you guys all, i think it is, as a few days after posting the car for sale, i got a text message from a guy thats in the states, and he sent me a pict of his 930 slant nose with the 928-S nose, we was very much both happy to see, he has the same one, even the color, and with the factory wheels, so i will ask for his ok to post his car up tomorrow to show the same, he also told me when he bought the car from a gentelmen who had it for 20 years that he always thought he had a fiberglass front end, until the new owner had the entire car painted and seen the front was made of stainless steel, he also said to just remove a fender bolt and scratch off the inner part and see if its steel? i will do that in a few days and check. i also am doing for me a Porsche authenticity certificate for my purposes, and will again ask permission from the other 930 gentelmen 930 slant nose just to show that i was saying the truth about it all for you guys, why are u asking for more when sold for 35.900? when i had listed my add, ive stated that i had a 45k offer from a Germany guy, so spoken with (non-buyer) and made an additional agreement for 3k more on top of last bid, and gave him my word ill just go with him and honor the deal, but he had fell threw? ive offered him the sale even after its been reposted and again he failed to comply threw, so will not try and force anyone to buy, its just not me, so i am not going to give my car away, i understand it will need refurbishing to it, yes i do know it will, so that is the reason for the low price, you will also see the video my son is working on by tomorrow and see the motor and transmssion on how good it is, so its not a project car, paint yes, scratches, yes, some tlc work, yes, is needed, but no power train work is the key, might need a new clutch to? dont know until clutch is adjusted, or maybe thats how it drives? no clunking, no grinding, just a little less peddle then what i am used to, so will keep u posted prior to sale ending, many asked if i am a dealer? or sale and buy cars? the only cars i buy and part with are all 1985-1992 camaro's and pontiac trans am;s cars, as i have over 12 of them, i sell parts on ebay and world wide here in houston tx, i do not buy and sell cars, only 3rd gens only, and a few corvetts with the tune port v8's, as they are the same as the iroc and the gta motors, i am also posting all my adds come this friday for sale here on ebay, ive never sold a car on here as this is my frst car, ive both this porsche last summer, and just kept in the garage and make my friends drull, and just never bothered to fix it or try to sell it until a month ago, because of my kids, told the last bidder needed the money and waited for him, since he fell threw had to sell my personal vette, so now i do not need the money, so again i do not buy cars unless its a iroc z as thats all i own and have a few personal ones i am restoring, tons of guys called and asked- what major work does the car need? well, since the last visit to the porsche mechanic, ive stated that i will be getting a full tune up and so forth plus a fuel pump, and then the cost went over my budget, as 2 f/pumps was needed plus a few extras, then the mechanic said he can not do the clutch adj, and tune up because of a hot fuse over load which i know all u 930 turbo guys know what i mean, so went on a website that all the 930 guys had the same issues, so after a few weeks, ive personally fixed the issues with that cause and saved a ton of money as the show told me he will start off at 400 charge to upwards of 1000 dollars plus to fix that issue, at 100 dollars per hour, lol, so yea ive made sure its done nice and right and thanks to thoes guys who are a wonderful part of the 930's and me and several guys followed that proper way, so ive had not had the chance to drive it back and do the plugs, wires, and timing tune, but before the new buyer takes it home i will personally pay for that to be done, no worries there, as its my responcabilty and will take care of it at no extra cost to the buyer, so thats the most of it, wheels and tires, not 1 930 guy wants these wheels, which i dont blame you, so i will also buy a nice or fair set of standard wheels and tires and will put on the car if u like, and will deduct some money as they will be changed anyways, so if u like i can work with you on that, because these wheels i think are over sized for the car, and only show wheels, lol, so yes i have a guy who has a nice set of 911 wheels and tires thats about 1400 dollars i can put on for the new owner, 22 guys asked - if the car dont sell would i take a lower offer? sorry, i will not, it will stay in my garage for awhile until i can drop it off to the paint shop and put it back into the garage, i do want to sell it no question, but i have a ton into it, a guy in az wants it and said he will turn it into a master piece, which i would love to see it at and be in that state as thats where i am going come this fall, you will have a car, that u will not see, and the other sister car is the car thats in the guys collection thats also hidden away, which this one needs to be to, so tomorrow please expect a video of the car, my son is making it, its nice and he added music to it, and it will be and stay on youtube forever for other guys to see to, seen a little bit of it, and it looks great, he added the transformers theme song from the yellow camaro driven, so please see it and a few more picts of this beauty and sister 930 slant nose with 928-nose. and again any quesations please ask anytime, john qick replay, inserted are now 2 sister cars which the black owner had told me that is stainless, would like to correct that,2nd the front cooler is a inner cooler, not a oil cooler, has oil cooler in back, so please see the sister 930 turbo cars, and also a now finished video of the car that my son has made from his single iphone, he done a nice job on it, just please copy and past the link in the search bar, will try and just do the push button to link. but dont know how, but will try white 930 was found in Pennsylvania sitting in a parking lot siting for years, thoes are the factory wheels that it came with, weather or not this one and these cars came like this or not, remains to be seen, but i know forsure it was not made in the U.S, weather its a porsche that was taken to a local city well known in germany ( performance shop ) and they had them done and sold them with the upgraded packages, just like ford took and shiped a mustang gt to shelby and made them into gt500's, have no clue, as i am getting over 20 calls a day asking the same questions, weather it is or not, its still a very nice car to be seen in, but i would never change the front fenders, lights, 928 bar, and all the wireing harness for the headlights, on my part anyways, the wheels are not painted, my son had them sprayed with M3 flat back feel away, so it comes off in 1 wash, VIDEO OF PORSCHE http://youtu.be/aJOwdrFM3bM if the link fails? please go to youtube and type in ( test driving my porsche 930 ) under porsche 930 thanks again john: but first copy and past this in google search bar http://youtu.be/aJOwdrFM3bM
