Most diesels were shipped from the factory with only the basic premium package and occasionally another package or option tossed in. Since this one was special ordered, it has many (many) more options than the typical X5 diesels produced. In fact, I have NEVER seen another diesel X5 with all of these options… and I have seen a number of these models. I added up the cost of the options on this particular X5… It has over $25k worth and that does not even included the special order charges. Most X5s only have about $5,000 worth of options. This sale represents a fabulous opportunity for one to obtain a great deal on an exceptionally nice X5 that has approximately $20k in options beyond typical. This X5 still drives as new. The steering and suspension are tight and there are no unusual vibrations or noises. With the mileage, the prior owner must have been a highway driver, which keeps MUCH less wear and tear than city driving. I would rather have a 100k-mile highway vehicle well before a 40k-mile city driven one. With the diesel engine, it becomes a no-brainer, as this engine is still getting broken-in. At this deal, one can get a $80,000+ MSRP BMW X5 for well less than half of the original amount and even thousands below the other basic/ non-optioned ones with more wear and tear. Our buy-it-now price is set exceptionally low for this particular X5 to facilitate a quick sale. I acquired this BMW from a dealer via Manheim this year. I chose it from over 80 other X5s due to its outstanding condition report, its extensive option list, and maintenance status. (Most at the sale need reconditioning have missing keys, poor tires, stains, dents, dings, etc…. Not this one… it is exceptional.) The only flaws that I am aware of include 1) a very small scratch on the driver fender (see photo—hardly noticeable 2) the trunk “open” button has the common rubber coating rubbed off (a $72 part to replace, if desired.) That is all!!! The tires on this BMW are Michelin Latitude Tour HP Extra Load and are almost new. They were measured to be 8/32nds and 9/32nds when I purchased this BMW. (I have only put 4k miles on it, since.) The cost of these tires alone at TireRack, not including shipping, installation, or tax, is $1,136. I obtained a CarFax on this BMW when I purchased it and it was completely clear showing only the one owner with no accident history. This X5 diesel comes with both remote keys and a full set of books! This BMW X5 has its balance of its maintenance coverage to November 2016 or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first. BMW maintenance coverage is transferable from owner to owner. The interior is very fresh with no strange odors or surprises. I have been driving this X5 on a daily basis. There may be up to 700 additional miles since the start of this auction due to my driving.
