1989 GMC Jimmy SLE Up for auction is a 1989 GMC Jimmy SLE for parts or scrap. The body has suffered severe rust damage and most panels are only good in sections or as scrap. However, the following parts are still in good, usable condition: - Drivetrain (Engine, Transmission, Drive Shaft, Rear End/Rear Axle)- 4-Wheel Drive System- Wheels- Hood- Doors- Removable Rear Top- All Glass (except driver door vent window)- Lights (Headlights, Brake Lights, Turn Signals)- Interior (Front Seats, Rear Bench Seat, Door Panels, Center Console, Steering Wheel/Column, Radio, Gauge Cluster, etc.) The original tan/gold interior is complete and re-usable with some light cleaning. The only exception may be the driver seat, which has standard wear from many miles and years in service. Although I am uncertain, the five digit odometer may have rolled over. The 55,890 that is currently displayed may likely be 155,890. Due to sitting for an extended period of time the vehicle may be difficult to start OR may start right up with a fresh battery and a turn of the key; I can't say for sure. To be safe, the buyer should be prepared to have the vehicle towed out of the spot where it sits rather than driving it onto a tow truck.
