You are viewing and bidding on an 85 Mercedes 300D. I bought this car approximately two years ago to do a diesel swap into my other vehicle and since it was to be disassembled I never transferred title to my name but I have the pink slip in hand. I have changed directions on this conversion so the car is for sale. The car shows 287xxx on the clock and runs fine It has been sitting for the 2 years so the brake master has leaked down and the ignition switch has failed but is able to be started from under the hood This car has a salvage title due to a minor rear end collision so the right rear tail light and corner have some damage. There is no other body damage and the interior is in very good shape no tears in the seats a small crack in the dash. This car also has some sort of transmission problem with possibly a B2 piston?... or vacuum line issue It operates in all gears for a short while then goes to neutral and you manually shift it to first and it will drive. The car will come with another 300D engine that I purchased for spare parts unknown cond of the internals of the engine. The window switches and fan motor have been donated to a friend with a like car but the windows do operate with switches no issues. Please look the pics over, ask any questions.
