This 1978 Chevrolet C65 Hamerly pumper truck was originally owned by the Thompsontown PA fire department then went to a private owner who was connected with the Schuylkill PA historical Fire Society where it was displayed for events. I purchased it first as a truck I was going to cut up and make one of those bad boy pickups out of but it is too nice to cut up. I then was going to keep it as a show vehicle but Its too big for my garage and I need to get it out of the storage it is at. It can be registered historic and it will run and drive anywhere. The pump works and would make a great show vehicle, pool truck or well rig, or remove the body and put a different one on. The chassis is pristine, interior is brand new and the motor is in excellent mechanical shape. I redid the radiator and water pump, alternator , belts and hoses as a matter of maintenance . The PO replaced the gas tank. I have all kinds of service records for it and Ialso have lots of extra fire equipment available for extra money.
