1987 Gold Mercedes 560SL with current inspection and in very good driving condition. Both interior and exterior (original paint)are in good to very good condition. Comes with both hard top and new convertible top. All original equipment except for new radio/CD player. Everything works perfectly except power radio antenna. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts solid and predictable, steering and suspension are tight. Tires are very good. My wife purchased this car in 1998. She works at home and drove it sparingly for 5 or so years until we moved out to the country. For the last 10 years the car has been in our garage and infrequently driven. When started regularly the engine starts and runs great. The only known issue is that the starter occasionally fails to engage; this always corrects itself after 2-3 tries. The odometer in this vehicle reads 78,114 and has not worked in several years. The title shows 42000 miles as of the 1998 purchase date. The car has been driven less than 2000 miles in the past 10 years. My wife has always been reluctant to sell this car, but we recently purchased another convertible sports car and she is finally ready to let it go.
