Vehicle Detail

Second go at this lots of interest but no ones wants to place the bid so here we go again this is as low as it gets. Make sure to look at the link at the bottom there are 100 pics there. Don't be scared of the red primer on the front the last owner put that on there when he stored it. I scotch-britghted it to make sure there was nothing hidden. It was brought to my attention that I did not set my camera date after I installed the new batteries sorry I can assure you these were taken 12/3/14 stupid cheap camera. Also questions about the title I will add a couple of pics to the post You are looking at what you have been trying to find all this time. This is a 1967 Volkswagen Kombi ordered by Sundial Campers. Very rare and VERY hard to find. This van was bought in 11/09/1990 from an individual in Little Rock, AR. He then drove it as his every day vehicle with plans of restoring it. In the early years of the internet with parts being almost non existent and only available through mail from California he soon lost his patience it was then put in a shed around 1993 or so. He tried to revive his project this year with a simple motor overhaul that was to be performed by a local mechanic. After 4 months of waiting he went after his motor that had been pushed to the side because he had no idea how to rebuild a VW motor. He loaded up everything that was left of his motor including the motor stand that it was on. After this bad experience he sold it to me. From what I can tell is he has probably got a shim out of place or torqued out of sequence it does turn but not freely if you back off on the main case bolts it does free up some. This is a dual port motor with 10/10 on crank and rods new pistons, jugs and bearings. There is another block included with this sale unsure of its condition. Ok enough on the motor if you are looking at this auction you already know the rarity of these vehicles and there value restored. It will need the usual replacement panels being front floor pan, passenger side rocker panel and the battery tray. He added a new "for the 90's" radio, an extra gauge and started to cut in another till his hole saw burned out. I have over 100 photos of this vehicle I will try to add a link to them." I do want to say ya'll VW guys keep a lot of extra parts this thing was level full of boxes of parts. I will try to answer any questions you may have thanks and happy bidding. https://www.flickr.com/photos/48219472@N06/sets/72157647268172363/ ************
