Vehicle Detail

This is a factory original 930 porsche 3.3 liter turbo inner cooled wide body 4-spd car, It has approx 83k miles from new, the car has been imported from Germany and was told it was on the auto bound years ago (early 80's) This is number 231 from only a few imported Into the United States, PLEASE NOTE ***The vin number*** I have placed as all 1's is the reason of eBay does not recognize Germany cars, as I've called and spoken with a representative there and said that they only have U.S cars vins only, and told me to place all 1's or 0's in the place box for eBay add , so I will post up the vin number and a pict of the clean and open Texas title in the Picts and on this eBay site, this way you can also do a car fax and check the history on it, Vin identification number: WP0ZZZ93ZDS000231 I will tell you all that I know about this beauty, condition, history, work needed, and every detail I know about it,As I will not leave anything out, and will do my 100% best to make this a nice and beautiful sale to the lucky new owner of this rare turbo,,,,, First is the history all what I know, so please bare with me on it all, I just want to be honest on it all for you to serious buyers, First the history: I have bought this porsche from a local family here in Houston tx, the owner is a middle aged man, very wealthy and owns several hi dollars vehicles along with a few businesses here in tx, he advertised it locally, so I've made him a serious offer on it and took it home, since then it's been in my garage and never been driven but only once for a test drive, down the block and back into my enclosed garage, just to Make sure all is well with it, as this is my 2nd one I've owned and also a 1969 911 - S model. I've asked the owner all the info he knows and info he has on it, but unfortunately he speaks oriental, so the only info I got from him that the other owner spent literally thousands of dollars into it, and was on TV back in the day, so I believe be was some sort of ball player, but will confirm on it when I talk to him again, he said he spent over 25000 dollars for the paint job, the wheels, tires, and the front end, I've also asked him about the nose of the car, as I've never seen One like it, and how different it is from the factory slant nose, he stated that other owner wanted a 1 off type that no one will have the look or copy this design of the car and that no one has, so that's where all the money was spent into the car, as far as the upgrades on it, I've also asked him for any records of the history of it, he said he never asked for them, bummer for me! Seen that all the weather seals has even done, every single one except the front window, all new rubber on the doors. Side doors, glass, Inside of the windows, ect.... So as far as the power train is concerned I don't know if it is a stock turbo or a upgraded one. Don't know if it has the factory 300 plus hp or more, he also said that all the services has been done and another 12k was spent on it less then a few years ago and had been driven only 300 miles if that he said since all completed as far as the service was done, he also said he spent a few thousand dollars for some minor repairs to, switch, a few wires and odds and ends, and was parked for quit some time, but again barley understood him, so with that in hand at least, I've took it home, Have ordered a set of rear tail lights, some factory decals also included with it, Condition of the car: The car will need a paint job, and it has some scratches and a few chips into the paint, Picts of them are included to see, can't tell from &-10 feet away, but will need one for sure, there is no rust on the car to be found, under or anywhere that I can tell, The car will also need a tune up to it, which I will have done prior to sale of it for the new owner, which I will have d the following done, 1) oil change 2) plugs and wires 3) cap and rotor 4) all new belts 5) might check Into a new fuel pump because it was parked for months, if needed I will have it all done for you, or will deduct the price for it from the final sale price as separate pay-pal payment for you... 6) a full detail prior to delivery of the porsche to arrive to your home, 7) clutch adjustment 8) brake calibers and brake bleeding Rough estimate of cost of 1200-2000 dollars all said and done. Or may be more, but what ever it is I will have this paid for by me for the new owner this way it's all Done for you,The interior is in good shape, no damage to the seats or rear seats, non-smoker on all owners, including myself, The car runs and drive good, a few hesitations to it when it's cold, after it worms up it's fine, and will have all tuned up to correct this, The car will throw you back into your seat just out of second gear, as the turbo spools up very nice, But agin only driven it on my street and back, less then 1 mile, it turns extremely great! Handles great also, it stops very very good with it's 4-wheels disc brakes. Also has been done are the brakes, new cross drilled slotted rotors, tires has under 500 miles, plus there is so much more that I am forgetting about, it has been well cared for and no expenses has been spared on this car, All factory options on this nice example, Power steering, brakes, power windows and locks, factory cass player, sun-roof , has the turbo front wide fenders to, all gauges are factory org and all works great...also the cass holders are there to, fire extinguisher, and original owner had ordered 2 additional options to the factory turbo inner cooler and the exhaust sys, as this was the only year one can order how you wanted, Just serious buyers only please is all I ask, any questions? Please feel free to call or text and I will provide any Info or details to it as much for you as possible, Mobile number: 832-517-0182 To out of the country buyers, after all funds had cleared I will help with shipping to any location here in tx, or will have car ready and preped for shipment in container or how ever you choose, again after all funds had cleared In full US FUNDS, Local buyers: I also will help driver load up for you, and you are also welcome to come over and view car in person prior to buying or bidding, will be happy to show you in person, inspection also would recommend of you like, I WILL NOT TAKE CAR OUT TO ANYONE FOR A INSPECTION , I just so hope that you understand, as this car gets way way to much attention and I myself don't take it out because if this, It's fully insured into my name, but still a little scared to have out, I will also take a even trade title for title, for the flowing vehicles.Cobra, ferrari, lotus turbo, z06 corvette 06 and up, denali,or a nice nice classic, just let me know and send a pict of it, worst I can say is no, also on the ferrari if it needs some minor work? Just let me know we can work out a deal for it, looking for a nice good used F-355 spider f1, with or without hi miles, just looking for a nice driver for me, Thanks so much for reading John Houston tx. On Dec-07-14 at 02:09:17 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: First off would to thank all the 60 plus offers, calls, text messages, and info on the car on what i have, from Florida to nyc , from several guys out of the country, 3 dealers, and 20 plus exotic brokers, had so many question request needed and extra picts of the cars decals, so this is what i have found out, the car is the real deal, no issues or worries there, weather is a factory slant nose or not?, well, this porsche 930 came from germany the way it is, nobody in the united states has this type of car, this is the only one in the state, weather there is a few more hidden in someones garage or even in there private collection? remains to be seen, found out that there are 5 like this, called gembella and they requested picts to see if they done this car as there early models, so will keep all posted on it, as far as many wanted to know about inspection, i will take to a local place near me or to potsche of your choice, just not far like 50-300 miles away, no leaks that i can see, the motor and power train was completely redone at some point, as every gasket and seals was done, except the fuel pump that i will pay to have replaced prior to sell because it was not driven for quit some time, this 930 was again taken care of in every way, and is much much more rarer then any 930, from the shocks, brakes, transmission, ac, motor, plus more was all done or replaced, this car came as seen from germany except the wheels and tires, 12 questioned the exempt title: that means that any car thats past 10 years old means that the miles dont need any longer to be seen on the actual title, as most collectors have the same into there collections, i also have a corvette i just bought and also says excempt to, and you can call the local tx dmv which will tekk u the same.... 32 questioned if i would sell the porsche the way it is not me having it serviced for all thats needed, as ive stated above i will, and will deduct the bill from the final cost of bid, 17 asked if i would deduct the wheels from the price, yes i will take off 2500 from the final price of sale, as some dont want these type and want to put back on the factory ones, person preferance. prior to listing this car, made some inquiries to collectors, and some tv series show buyers, called F-40 motor sports about it, ( chasing classic cars) my favorite show, and spoke with his employee, they wanted picrts of the car, but never sent them and just posted it here for sale, spoke with mecium auction, was supposed to go to there next auction sale, but wanted to try it out here first, i am not a porsche guy at all, but the beauty of it, its just amazing to see, as im not a fan of the regular slant nose type, but this looks just like something never will see again, as seen in the new picts ive just posed, please zoom in to see how the decals are on the passengers side fender, the carpet was pulled away to show condition only, and was put back, showing its original structual and condition, and rareness, again super good luck to the new owner of this exotic super car, and will post updates as questions are asked here on line, john houston tx On Dec-09-14 at 23:27:38 PST, seller added the following information: hi guys, ive tried to update earlier, ditten go threw I guess, so im posting up an update as promised from yesterday...... had the car taken to a local Porsche place that was recommended to me from a ebay member here that has called me and trusted his Porsche and mazda turbo to, so the car is there now as we speak, the certified Porsche guy there told me with in 20 mins that my fuel pump has gone sour, meaning that it is working but not great, and this is the cause of the miss I was telling you guys about, so with a clutch adjustment, new bosch fuel pump, drivers side brake caliber adjustment, the final bill is close to 1,000 dollars all said and done, so I gave him the thumbs up and said go ahead and have it done right. while I was there he had the car on the lift, so ive took several pictures of the car, from all under carrage, side views, shocks, motor, ect,,,,, the mechanic said that this car was taken care of pretty good. just already has a major services done to it already, cap and rotor, plugs and wires all bosch, timing belt, brand new turbo sys, hi quality oils, brakes, pads, rotors, aliment, bilstine rear shocks, fronts are also done but I think konies sports, they are painted black to not show the yellow, plus much much more was done, and I think ive found the place that done all the work to the car, so will call them tomorrow to get a copy of the work done, as ive was under the car for the first time, ive seen that Porsche has100% emissions for it to be street legal, which I knew it was already, a hi flow catalytic converter, so after that, ive told the shop to go ahead and just has it fully inspected for me, so being done today will be: 1) brand new front fuel pump (bosh) 2) rear brake caliber fix 3) clutch adjustment 4) state inspection ( dec-2015) 5) over all inspection of the car with a report almost 1k with recite when the car was taken in the shop the mechanic called me with in 20 mins after he seen the car, he told me that if I would be interested in selling the car? ive told him that's its on ebay, he told me that he called 2 or 3 Porsche guys who deals in nothing but collectors and has them all, the mechanic told him that he needs to come down as he don't have them all and really needs to see my car as there only is a few made of these and he don't has noting like this, he asked my permission for the buyers to see it, ive told him yes no problem, but they can not drive it or sit in it until I am there to make sure, they agreed, so I just want to be honest with all, as if these guys make me a serious offer I will let it go here locally as ive posted it here to a few places and word by mouth only, as ive got offered 4 strong offers for me, which are, Chicago guy said 25k plus Germany 45k California 45k plus if it has cat for emissions and a few others on the car to title it in the state 50k plus told shop mechanic to show 2-3 collectors and or dealers here in tx, so if my buy it now is taken or to the higest bidder this exotic will go to that person, as I reserve the right to sell it to the higest bider or offer, reason I am selling it so cheap, my family comes first, I don't want to sell it, but my kids are first in my life and I am selling it for them, the book on this car is low 64k to number 3 condition to upwards of 110k without the rarest 930 turbo in the united states, I am also posting up a few more picts of the car, I have several more to show but it will not allow me anymore but 24 picts, so please text me for picts to serious buyers, or email me here for more picts, I am also getting a temp tag from the dmv today and will be driving the car back into my garage, so I will post up a small video of me driving it back home, just to show how all the gears shift out good and no grinding in all 4 are good, how the turbo spools up good to, and the turbo looks like when the tune up was all completely done the new turbo was also done, so please see the picture, so the car is good to go, nothing is needed for it, u can now drive it cross country is desired, but agin will need a paint job, but agin its not bad to the point on bad, just only because its a Porsche and a 1 off type, also a pict of the head lights are shown, mechanic called them frog eyes? has the same exact set up as a real 928 S model, the mechanic said after seeing th decals on the fender, he said it looks life factory to him, and after I bring home the car I will list his number to the shop and will call the previous show and ask if its ok to post there number to for all ebay guys who are serious, buyers, thanks guys and will post up and make a you tube video as a short video on the car by Friday as the final day here. john Houston tx 832-517-0182On Dec-10-14 at 19:40:43 PST, seller added the following information: picts of request of tons of text messages update of services repairing. went to shop today. and mechanic said I will need both fuel pumps and filter done all together, 1500 dollars plus, so again ive told them to go ahead and have done, the correction of the was in fact due to poor fuel going in, so will be all completed by tomorrow, this Porsche 930 is and has the option of the upgraded package made for the 83 model, which are the oil cooler mounted the rear inside wing, has the exhaust sys all on one side, and has the special made turbo gauge on right side of dash, where all to most regular 930 models has the standard clock at, and with the stock turbo boost gauge, plus much more, so like a x-50 option made for the newer turbos, this one has the same option but for the 83 930 model, please see picts, as the org owner had a cat installed with the exhaust sys to make it US legal, so again a super rare one, wish I can keep it, and thanks to all the guys with the info on the car, so wil be posting 1 last time tomorrow a short video me driving it back home tomorrow from shop back into my garage, thanks so much john
