Simply one quality 1947 Chevrolet 3100 pickup! This truck is built to drive and enjoy with no flaws or questionable work. The 3100 has been assembled with extreme care and attention to detail and made to look Rattish for a weathered survivor feel. Body is laser straight and solid, no mud or funky welds, the truck body and frame are flawless. Cab is like new with rock solid floors and sills, doors are perfect with no rot on lower lips. Hood is original and has center joint has been welded and smoothed. Patina, lines and lettering were done by the famous Josh Shaw! Grill and bumper are vintage with hazy chrome for that weathered look. Interior is street rod finished with way cool old school new white and red material. , headliner and door panels are all custom upholstered and flawless. Floor has been painted, insulated, dynamated, and carpeted. Dash has been finished with a custom lower console that houses the Vintage Air controls and the AM/FM/CD unit. Custom kick panels with new speakers fill the tight cab with great sound. New vintage Dolphin gauges fill the old factory gauge locations, all gauges work and are accurate including the fuel gauge. LED lights indicate turn signals and headlight functions. New custom steering column and Grant wheel finish the interior. All cab glass is clear with no chips or bullet holes, door glass cranks up and down like new and the rear window has been replaced with a modern slider to help pull air through on those nice days. Frame has been blasted and finished in black. The 3100 has a new Heidt's mustang II front end with manual rack and pinion steering, frame mount street rod power brake unit, disc front brakes, and braided brake lines. Rear end is from a S10 with nice highway gear (sorry do not know ratio) with new flipped springs and blocks. Chrome steelies with dishes finish off the custom vintage look. Driveline is very impressive! Engine is a crate 350/300 HP new unit with chrome Edlebrock performer intake, Edlebrock carb and Edlebrock air cleaner plus a Mallory Promaster coil and distributor. The motor has been detailed with chrome billet ball milled valve covers and plug wired runners with a billet engine pulley kit. A chromed and polished Vintage Air unit has been installed and works perfect for freezing cold air and nice toasty heat. Lockar engine and trans stainless dip sticks have been installed plus chrome shorty headers to release the exhaust to the new dual pipes with crossover. Transmission is a rebuilt 350 automatic with shift kit and cool Lockar eight ball long throw chrome shifter. A few misc details include LED billet tail lights, custom fuel cell, dark stained cutom bed kit, chrome exhaust tips, Carr's custom radiator, Holley mechanical fuel pump and a chrome water pump.
