I purchased this American classic because I thought it would be cool to use as my daily driver. Despite its undeniable cool factor, my more sensible better half pointed out that is lacks the modern day safety features which should be present when taxiing my kids around town. Point taken and therefore selling. During my ownership, I drove it around the block 5 or 6 times and the rest of the time it has been sitting in the parking lot of my office. Upon buying the Jeep in May 2013, I had an auto shop perform the following: replace left upper and left lower ball joints, replace front brake pads, bleed brake system and replace right front brake caliper and brake hose, replace alternator and fusible link. I have records of that work being performed. The inside has been replaced (previous owner) and looks great. The body and undercarriage are in great shape. The inspection expired 6 months ago and I have not taken it to get renewed. It needs jumped to start but runs great once going. I have no idea what is draining the battery and have not taken it to get any diagnostic test performed. Also, the front passenger side tire is flat and needs replaced. If you are looking at this Jeep you probably love the vehicle and understand there aren't many that are in decent condition. Feel free to ask any questions - I am not the most well versed 'car guy' but will answer anything I am able. Its painful to pull into work everyday and see this beast sitting in the same spot - almost sad. Needs a new home! Thanks for looking.
