We found this ghia under a rose bush. The owner had an international business that was booming. He was gone for so long, the engine shop sold his engine. The owner was very upset. It had been a long time they were friends, him and the ghia. Once on one of his business trips, he paid for storage at a garage. When he returned the ghia was all dented up. The owner of the storage threw up his hands and said it was always like this. No it wasn't. I have the pictures. It was beautiful. The ghia was nearly perfect before the owner was so busy. They drove across the usa together more than once and always played good music and celebrated. Now the ghia is with us looking for a new lease on life. We are looking for one person who has an engine or a desire to find one. The ghia needs a new heart and a new captain for its next voyage. The car has tons of personality, and the original spare tire, stickers on the glove and manual are a hoot. The interior is remarkably intact. The whole car has a time capsule feel to it except for the rims and re-paint. It does have discs up front for the safety of our loved ones which is so important. I heard a plunger and some soapy water might pull these dents. The tires are still very nice. The brakes work and the emergency brake too. I heard we are the 3rd owners, even if its brief. We spend our days hunting old cars by bicycle or car, by truck or by train. This is our passion. We treat every vehicle with care and hope to hear from you.
