Up for bids today is an absolutely stunning, LOW-MILEAGE 1959 Chrysler Saratoga custom convertible. The car has no top - but one can be made easily for it. The conversion was professionally done about 25 years ago and has held up extremely well. The paint, although not perfect, still shines like it was painted yesterday. Body is excellent, no rust, and the interior is beautiful. This unusual classic is powered by its original 383 engine with only 69,789 miles. I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car anywhere (except, maybe, the car wash?). Just drove it 300 miles and got nothing but shouts and waves, people hanging out of their windows and taking pictures. Lots of fun, and definitely gets noticed wherever you go. The chrome is original, and still has a nice shine, however if you want show quality you will need to rechrome the bumpers. Again, it's 55 year old chrome! This is likely the only one like it on the planet. Rest assured you will not find another car like this at your local car show! This car really is a blast to drive - however my wife has decided that she wants to do some remodeling, so my toys have to go. This is the first of 2 classics to be sold.
