This IS THE CAR you want. One that doesn't need much to be a something special. I have owned many Datsuns over the years. I bought this one trying to go back to my teenage years when I had a 75. I always like the ease and reliability of the fuel injected engines. So I know that this may not be a most sought after Datsun. But with that said it is sooooo orginal and so classic I think you will be very happy with her. The 280z has basically been in storage since I bought it a year ago. I changed the oil and had it looked over when I got it. I actually just changed the oil again as I was going to drive it for the fall. But as life goes it makes more sense to see her go to a good home than sit in storage... The engine starts right away even after sitting for months. The 4sp transmission and clutch work smoothly. Windows, doors, hood, hatch, seats, all work just as they should. Heater fan, lights, horn all work. There is very little corrosion on the structure of the car. The floor and chassis are solid. Very minor surface rust on body panels.. I bought the car from a private sale in NY state... He had it for many years and also drove it very little and stored it when not in use. I would prefer not get involved with the shipping but can drive it locally to help with pick up. Please be serious if you bid. I have done my best to accurately describe this rare survivor car...
