We are under the impression that the idiot at the DMV read it as 91,000 when it was 51,000 since the car hasn't been driven in 4 years. I am selling this for my boss and I have let him know there is a problem. Needless to say he is sick about it and is going to discuss this on Monday with the DMV. He has asked me to correct the mileage and put unknown to be fair to someone looking at it as he doesn't want to mislead anyone. He is a hotrod guy and has 5 classics so he feels it important to be honest to a buyer but he is upset that this came up when I listed it. It is a shame because the car is really nice. Just looking at the leather one knows that it couldn't have 100k on it but we are left with what the DMV did. He talked to a friend that has a Mercedes repair shop and was told that it would take a day to try and swap out an odometer as it is very difficult to get to and can't be "rolled back" as reported. So it wouldn't make sense to do this on a car that wasn't worth a lot of money.If anyone would like additional pictures or videos to get a better appreciation of the condition of the vehicle let me know
