Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1971 Ford Ranchero GT that is a Super Solid West Coast Driver! This Muscle Truck is a very clean and original Ranchero GT. You just do not find cars like this anymore!! This 1971 Ford Ranchero GT is an ORIGINAL Grabber Blue exterior paint on Black Knitted Vinyl Bucket Seat interior M-code 351C-4V car with a C-6 Automatic Transmission and 9 inch 3.00 geared conventional rear axle. It is an original Bucket Seat Console shift car with Laser Stripes and a Factory Tu-Tone hood black out!! This car has been my semi-regular driver for the past few years and has never let me down. The paint is decent as is but does have some sun fade from being driven several times a week and spending quite a bit of time outside in my office parking lot. There a coupe of spots on the left 1/4 where some spot paint repair was done in it's past that have just recently made them selves evident. Nothing earth shattering but certainly worth mentioning. Remember this is a 'DRIVER' and as such it is a stand out either to and from the cruise night or for a Home Depot or Tire Shop run!! I drive the car all over and do not really show it per se' and the car would really stand tall with some minor touch up and a good buff and detail. This is a SUPER SOLID car from the West Coast and while not a perfect car by any means is a very sound car that has not been abused. It is a clean car in, out, and underneath. It has no real rust to speak of besides a couple of very small/minor pimples here and there on it. The 351C-4V has been rebuilt by a prior owner and runs great. The transmission shifts as it should. The car starts, stops, runs and drives great! In fact I had it out today to run some errands.....it performed flawlessly! This car is well equipped and documented as such per the Deluxe Marti Report. This 1971 Ranchero GT was ordered in the Seattle, Washington Sales District (DSO 74) when new and stayed there in the Pacific Northwest until I found it a few years back and brought it here to Atlanta. It was a Fleet order that was sold NEW at Bill Marshall Ford in Vancouver, WA. This 1971 Ranchero GT was further equipped with these other factory optional/featured items to include: Tu-Tone Hood, Body Side Tape Stripe, Black Vinyl Roof, C-6 Select shift Cruise-O-matic transmission, F70-14 Wide Oval Belted Tires, Visibility Group, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Bumper Guards, AM Radio, Bucket Seats, Console, Tinted Glass, Styled Steel Wheels, and Heavy Duty Suspension. The door tag information is as follows and as listed on the Deluxe Marti Report:BODY 66C = Ranchero GT Color J = Grabber Blue Exterior Paint Trim QA = Black Knitted Vinyl Bucket Seat InteriorDSO 74 = Seattle, WA ordering district Axle 6 = 3.00 Conventional Rear Axle Trans U = C-6 3-speed Automatic Transmission This car has been repainted once in its life and it was redone in its ORIGINAL color by a previous owner roughly 20 years ago and a '70 Style Laser stripe was installed as it was the only one that was available at the time. Just a minor difference but again I thought it worth mentioning. As you can see by the pictures it is still a very presentable automobile. While it does have some nicks, scratches, and blemishes that you would associate with a regularly driven car; it still shows nicely at the Cruise Night and Show 'n Shine!! The car has a very nice driver quality interior (see pics). The seats, door panels, kick panels, and carpet are all in very good shape and present themselves well for a car that has been driven yet maintained. The dash does have a crack in it. The Center console is in very good shape on this car!! Overall this Ranchero is a very presentable car; but please look at all the pictures and judge for yourself! The car has always been well taken care of and maintained by its previous owners and it shows in how this car has survived the last 43+ years!! The car's Power Steering is smooth and precise without the usual slop these cars can get with a lot of rough road miles on them. The Power Disc Brakes stop the car very well and perform as they should with no pulling or fading. The suspension has had it's upgrades done over the years, it is still in very good condition and makes for a nice riding car; unlike most of other 40+ year old unrestored cars you find out there. The wipers, horn, heater and blower work as they should, the lights and turn signals all work and blink as they should. This is a very nice unrestored and for the most part unmodified Ranchero GT with a great equipment list that is optioned in a very attractive color combination. This car was originally equipped with a set of 14 inch Kelsey Hayes Argent Slotted Styled Steel wheels from the factory. When I acquired this car it had a set of 14 inch magnum 500's on it, but did source a a set of the Kelsey Hayes wheels to put back on the car and they will be reinstalled at time of delivery for the winning bidder. The 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels on the car are for another car of mine and were put on this car for photographic purposes only and thus are not included as part of this auction. If the winning bidder did decide they wanted either the 14 inch Magnums or the 15 inch Magnums they could be negotiated in the cars purchase at extra cost. I have too many cars and need to thin out the herd some. I will be auctioning some of my other Ford and Mercury Muscle cars soon so that I can focus on some of my stalled/backlogged restorations. So please watch for my other auctions!! I do have this 1971 Ranchero GT listed elsewhere and as such reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions BEFORE you bid!! I want you to be sure of what you are bidding on and for us both to be satisfied with the Ranchero GT's described condition and it's sale. I expect a deposit within 24 hours of auctions end and the balance of payment within 7 days of auction end. This 1971 Ranchero GT is a 43+ year old unrestored car and as such is being auctioned 'as-is, where-is' and 'as-described' with no warranties either expressed or implied. I have described this 1971 Ford Ranchero GT accurately so please read the auction text and look at the pictures carefully and make sure this is what you want before bidding. If you are not sure please do not bid. I take my auctions seriously and so should you. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!
