You are looking at an ORIGINAL 1970 C-code Torino Cobra 429CJ NON-Ram Air project car. It is an ex-Drag car from upstate New York that was known back in the day as 'My Fair Lady' that after it's track days were over has been barn stored on jackstands for the last several years. This is a REAL 38 Body code Cobra sportsroof that is a Real Red Exterior, Black Bucket Seat and Console car. This an ORIGINAL 1970 Torino Cobra and I have the Deluxe Marti Sheet to document it's original options and production numbers. This Torino Cobra was originally equipped as follows: 429 Cobra Jet NON Ram Air Engine C-6 Automatic Transmission3.50 N-case 31 Spline 9 inch RearRed Exterior PaintBlack Knitted Vinyl Bucket Seat InteriorConsolePower SteeringPower Disc BrakesF70-14 Raised White Letter TiresAM RadioDual Rear Seat SpeakersRear window DefrosterTinted Glass Once it's racing days were over it was relegated to barn storage for several years. Keeping the Cobra out of elements has kept the body and interior in very good condition overall. NOT like most Ex-Race Cars you see out there!! The body on the Cobra is Super Solid and very straight. As far as EX-Drag Cars go this one has not been cut on as hard as most of the ones you see. While the car has been mini-tubbed it still retains it's factory trunk flooring which would make it a simple fix to go back to a factory wheel well if so desired! The interior is still fairly intact with Factory Cobra Dash, Cobra Door panels and Floor Console. It is missing the original front seats and they have been replaced with a single lightweight racing seat. There is also a full Roll Cage in the car which could be removed with minimum of effort if one desired or left alone to continue with its Drag Race heritage. The dash and door panels still retain their original Cobra Emblems on them.The good: it is a REAL ROCK SOLID C-code 429CJ NON-Ram Air Cobra (38 body code) with a decent interior that is missing some of its original pieces. Car still has it's original bullet proof 9 inch N-case rear end underneath it with an upgraded Drag Racing gear set. It also comes with the Drag Race Wheels as pictured. I have also added the Grille Moulding to this car since the photo's were taken.The BAD: Car has had a variety of Drivetrains installed through its racing history and the original engine and transmission went MIA long ago!! The car currently has NO ENGINE or TRANMISSION and has been off the Track/Road for sevral years and while being indoor stored on jackstands certainly helped I am sure it will need some updating before you could put it back on the Street or Track. This is a Super Solid Project EX-Drag Car Roller with no engine or transmission. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions BEFORE you bid!!
