I passed this car till the "for sale" sign turned yellow and fell off. Turns out the owner was establishing a new business overseas and when she returned we made a deal. There we were, close to tears, when "Ruby Lynn" changed hands. Thats what I call her and thats what the plates said. It was priced high and firm, firm ,firm. Funny thing is, with a hot battery she fired right up. There were a couple I told you so's thrown around and off we went. No disappointments here as this 914 has been rock solid for us. The dash has some cracks, the brakes have some rust built up, there are some bubbles bubbling up and everything you'd expect from a car that sat for 4 years. The air conditioning unit made my partner very happy. The overall condition of the car made us both very happy. The car will need attention and is a great start to a wonderful experience. Its set up to pass california emissions. It runs very smoothly with no smoking or odd noises. There are some records of its visits to the performance shop.
