Vehicle Detail
63 Impala-this is a low rider running Project. Has been in storage for over 2 years. 327 Motor with power glide. Motor is a 4 barrel and sounds good-no smoking or knocking. A/c compressor not mounted but comes with it. Fuel neck rubber hose leaking and gas tank was dry-blew out gas line installed 2 gallons no ethanol gas and installed fuel filter. No leak in gas tank and new filter shows no sign of rust. Needs bushings on front end and 13" tires (good but have age on them). Rims are Crager with knock offs. Will need exhaust system-current muffler has been drug and has hole in it. No rear brakes line stopped up-would be a good time to replace and upgrades brakes and lines. Interior is old school and some of the dash needs repainted. Headliner is same as seats. All glass is good except it needs a windshield. Stereo system was stolen out of it while in storage. Batteries are shot on hydraulic system (twin units) and previous owners says couple of switch's or cylindoes not working. It currently is about 1 ½" off the ground. Your welcome to come check it out while it's on my drive on lift. If you decide you want it you can back your trailer to my lift and we can drive it onto your trailer-or if you need me to get it deliver within 200 miles. that can be worked out also. I will see if I can figure out hydraulics system enough to at least get the front lifted up so it will be easier to load. Very little rust (one spot is passenger side front floor board and small area in trunk. I do not have the missing pieces of chrome. Straight body and good bumpers (except the aluminum Pieces under the tag area and the front hood latch area we damaged it loading it up. Frame looks good and no signs of being twisted or damaged. This is not $10,000 car and am trying to be as honest as I can about this project that is worth restoring or reconditioning into a working low-rider or sell the hydraulic system and take back orginal. I have the last registered tag receipt and open bill of sale from Previous owner. If I go in and replace batteries and get system working it will be more money. If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. I do have a buy me price on it but my reserve is less. When looking at pictures on the computer you can move your mouse over a certain thing you want to take a close up view of the picture. On Nov-04-14 at 11:06:42 PST, seller added the following information: Hi today 11/4/14 -we put a jump battery in on hydraulic system and we did get the rear and front lifted up. It's not going to act right until it has more batterys but at least they work and car frame is about 4" off the ground. We straighten up the pieces on the front bumper where it looks better and polished the rims to get most of the service rust off them. Also added a few more pictures.
