I'm very happy to answer any questions, send pictures or videos, or take the car to a shop for you for an inspection (within a reasonable distance from Boulder, CO) to ensure that you know what you're bidding on. I'm happy to arrange for a test drive as well. Thanks!** For sale is a 1970 Porsche 911T 2.2L Coupe. VIN# 9110123554, Engine # 6109264, Transmission # 911/01 7700690. The COA does not list a transmission # but engine and VIN are matching. Mechanically the car is good- there are no known issues. The car runs very well and is an absolute blast to drive- I've taken some video of the car in action, which you can see below or here's the link to watch in full screen on youtube: For the Love of the Drive Video (good speakers recommended... The car sounds sweet.) The COA is still on it's way after 9 weeks... Porsche North America has the information and can verify numbers over the phone until the official document arrives... I'm happy to help you verify this, if needed. The COA lists the following: -1970 911 T Karmann Coupe-VIN: 9110123554-Engine #: 6109264-Transmission #: Not Recorded-Ext. Color: Tangerine #23-Int. Color: Black leatherette #11-Options: US Equipment, Comfort Package, Auto Antenna, Tinted Windows, Metal GrillsI purchased the car in 2003 and the title listed the mileage as exempt- apparently the odometer was not working previously but it seems to work fine now. Regardless, mileage is not actual. The car has been stored for 6+ months a year since I owned it and was in a similar situation prior to that (I purchased the car from a guy up the street from me who had bought it in 89' and had stored it in his garage every winter). Some summers I put less than 100 miles on it but still changed the oil before getting it on the road. In the last 10 years I've done minor work to the car including rebuilding the carburetors, new fuel pump, new fuel lines, spark plugs and wires, and upgrading to K&N Filters with rain hats from the factory air box (see pictures- I still have the factory air box with the car) but have not had to do anything major. It's a good example of a car that is ready to drive. Overall it looks very good- please see the pictures for detail but here's the list of imperfections- nothing is major. -Front windguard slight damage, paint chipping. -Multiple minor dents- only one is bad enough to have cracked paint (see pic of rear below engine grill) -Antenna no longer operable -slight rust bubbling below rear window (drivers side- see pics) -small paint chips -small amount of battery acid corrosion in trunk compartment- cleaned thoroughly with basic solution to prevent further erosion. I also converted to a single battery. -Drivers side seat is sagging a bit- (the actual part that you sit on is sagging). -Windshield has a crack in it- see pics Overall in very good condition- close ups needed to see most imperfections as you can see in the pictures. Please contact me with any questions or if you'd like to come see the car. Happy Bidding.
