2005 Honda RVT1000R (RC51)11,000 Miles Full Synthetic Oil Changes Every 2k Never Tracked Excellent Condition Those are the basics. This RC's been ridden regularly and normally it's whole life. It's never sat, it's never been down, it's never been rung-out either. I gets wound-up sometimes, though, when there's plenty of room. There are two modifications to this bike aside from the Yoshimura slip-ons. One, it has a Hot Bodies® Under Tail with upgraded LED Lighting – I used two lenses for a '53 Chevy to get the right look. I got 2+ inches using Woodcraft clip-ons, relocating the clutch reservoir, forming new bracketry, having custom length brake lines built and adjusting the upper fairing stay. I was even able to utilize the stock bar weights, allowing for the fitment of stock bar ends instead of the rubber stopper type. Unfortunately, there's no video on that. It would be a long movie! The ending would be great, though. The result is a bike I can ride all day long. This modification is as close to factory as you can get, both cosmetically and in functional reliability. I still have every original piece preserved in case you enjoy riding upside down:) Let's see, what else. The battery is two years old and strong, the tires are Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's. All fluids are recently flushed and fresh. The coolant is always Honda HP. The steering head bearings are All Balls tapered roller. The rear sets are recently gone-through and lubed. There's nothing that it needs, it's like a new bike. Enjoy!
