Vehicle Detail

Well Here is Your Chance! The 1968 Dodge Charger R/T This is the classic "My Loss is Your Gain" scenario. NO RESERVE. I've ran out of time and money. Let me start by saying I have over $20,000 invested in this Charger to date. That does not include time, gas, or storage. I've owned it for 11 years. This Charger is almost ready to go. It's been done right and will be an awesome example of the 68 and IT'S ALMOST THERE. I've turned down several offers over the last few years but now the time has come. This car does not have an engine or a transmission. It originally came with a 318. 95% of the entire body AND the following parts have been completely stripped, sandblasted, repaired, primed and installed by Kevin Hankus at "Classic Design" in Sunbury, Ohio. All Parts were purchased from "Year One" and "The Paddock." I have all the receipts. *New Frame Rails (left and right)*New Trunk Floor*New Taillight Panel (half needs primed)*New Trunk Quarters (Attaches to Quarters and holds weather strip)*New Leaf Springs*New Back Glass to Trunk Panel*New Left OEM style Quarter Panel*New Right OEM style Quarter Panel*New Outer Wheel Houses (left and right)*New Trunk Floor to Quarter Panel extensions (left and right) The Bottom has been sandblasted, rubberized, undercoated, and painted semigloss Black. The Hood, Deck Lid, Valance, 1 Fender, and Both Doors on this 68 Charger have been completely stripped, sandblasted, repaired, and primed. PLEASE NOTE: *This car is not completely ready for paint but WOW what a start. It's close and the work is quality. No rust issues, bondo, or surprises. Some things need assembled and finished. *1 Fender (passenger) needs stripped, sandblasted, and primed. *Both Fenders are '69*No windshield. I'd advise buying new glass all around. Also Included but needs finished:8 3/4 Rear EndStainless Steel Exhaust (New Unused. Its been left outside so it needs steel wooled) Moldings (decent but not restored or show quality)2 Complete Rear Seats (good)2 Front Bucket Seats (good)1 Complete Front Grill and assembly with headlights (good)Outside Rear View MirrorSide Vent Windows with trimFront Valance LightsComplete Inner Door Hardware (Repaired and Painted)Both Door Glass with trim and hardware (good)Runner Board Aluminum Trim (left and right) (good) Both bumpers are solid and need restored and re chromed. MORE INCLUDED BONUSES!!*Brand New Disc Brakes - The Right Stuff - 62/72 - BE Body - MDC62SD (in box)*Brand new Battery Tray (in box)*Brand New Complete Interior Carpeting (in box) black*Brand New Complete Interior Carpet Padding (in box)*Brand New Complete Package Tray (in box) black*Brand New Compete Headliner (in box) black If you want to do a 1968 Charger R/T the right way, this one is 80% there! There is still work to be done. This project is for someone that can appreciate the time, effort, and money it takes to do it right. It needs an Engine, Transmission, Tires, Rims, Stereo. and Wiring. The car is a roller but isn't rolling. You will need a large flatbed or trailer with a dolly to transport as it is. The base of the car is in Sunbury,OH and there are a few things that need picked up at my home in Delaware Ohio, which is about 15 minutes away from Sunbury. (seats, grill, and a few miscellaneous) The Dash, Gauges, Grill, Lights, Trim, etc. etc. are intact and need finished to suit your preference. GOOD LUCK! PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. On Oct-31-14 at 12:40:51 PDT, seller added the following information: As stated above this is an original 318 car, not at R/T. Sorry for the listing confusion. On Nov-01-14 at 16:26:01 PDT, seller added the following information: *Please review the pictures when considering how you will pick up and transport. You will need a rollback or big trailer, perhaps a wench or dolly. Again, this Charger is not an R/T. It originally came with a 318. There was confusion when I listed it. Good Luck!!
