I am selling my 1968 AMC Rebel SST 2 door hard top that is in very good condition. It has been partially restored and is a great weekend or daily driver. I am the 3rd owner of the car and as far as I know it still has the original engine and transmission. There is a rebuild tag on the engine block that was done in 1975. The car is the original color, however it has been repainted nice. The paint and body aren't perfect, but it still looks very good and draws attention everywhere it is driven. The top is new and so is the interior. The headliner and door panels have not been done yet. It also needs window and door seals to make it water and air tight. I have kept the car inside for the last 5 years and the previous owner kept it garaged or covered while he owned it. I have done a lot of work to this car and hate to sell it, but I am getting married and don't have the time or money to really finish the car the way I want to. I have added many new parts. New ceramic coated headers with all new custom flowmaster exhaust. New wheels and BFG tires. New brakes, bearings and bushings, rear sway bar, KYB shocks, new MSD electronic ignition system, new valve covers and rebuilt carb. I also have all the trim and many extra parts that go along with the car. This is an original California car with both matching black plates. It is currently registered and driven on weekends but never in the rain to prevent rust. This would be a great daily driver/project car for someone, or a great condition car to restore to a show quality car. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
