This bike was bought at the Mid Ohio swap meet in 1997 and was then stored in my shed. I didn't do anything for years but add oil to the cylinder and turn it over occasionally. But since I have too many bikes and I need to thin the herd, this one is up for auction. All I did was add gas and change the plugs, clean the carb and it started on the third kick. It runs and shifts great. The clutch doesn't drag. It even idles with no abnormal noises or piston slap. It is loud. The bike is very original with matching serial numbers and has the stock Barum tires, stock bars, grips, one piece air box/rear fender, Jikov carburetor, metal fenders/front #plate. The negatives are: It appears that someone has repainted the fenders. The chrome is pitted on the rims and handlebars. The spokes are rusty. Seat cover needs to be replaced. The left fork stanction tube has a few pits, (see pic) The fuel cap is missing an internal part and won't seal. Front tire has a leak. But the tank is near perfect with just a couple of the smallest nicks. The pipe is nice with no pitting. Original frame paint, You just don't see these classics this original and not modified or raced to death. I will provide a Bill Of Sale. There is not a title.
