there is absolutely no rust on this car!!! I have owned this car for 3 years but did not build it. from the paperwork in the car and what ive learned about this car...... it has had some work done to the engine...aluminum edelbrock manifold, I found a cam card in the glove box, newer holley carb, I replaced the fuel pump. this was sold by Suburban Motors in Los Angeles California in 1965 (original California car!!). the window sticker has been laminated and saved by the previous owner and will be included in the sale along with the original owners manual and envelope it came in. . the car runs good, drives down the road good, and shows outrageously good. this car turns heads wherever it goes. everything works on this car....headlights, blinkers, tail lights, reverse lights, wipers, heat, horn, interior lights, dash lights. this car was well taken care of. the engine is the original ford 352 big block coupled to a cruise-o-matic trans which shifts very well but does leak a little if it sits for long periods of time. the rear springs could be stiffer...the air shocks hold the car up and on large dips in the road the right rear wheel has hit the fender lip. the car starts right up everytime and after a brief warm up its ready to go. the engine is running around 200 degrees while driving. after idling for about a half hour it creeps up to about 220 or 240. . I have not taken it on long trips (half hour each time) but I would get the cooling system checked out before you take it on a long trip. the trans linkage should be adjusted because if you jam it up into park it wont start until you bring it down closer to reverse (when you hear the cancel switch click). other than that this cart is amazing. I don't have time to drive it anymore and therefore my loss is your gain. this may be the only rust free 1965 Galaxie on the planet!! please keep in mind this is a 50 year old car. you are not buying a new car so please be mechanically inclined and know that this car might need minor repairs. the last 2 pictures show a small dent in the hood that can be easily taken out and above the lip on the rear right wheel well where the tire hit. winning bidder please deposit $500.00 via paypal with balance due immediately after. you must arrange your own shipping.
