This is a good running car with some repairs needed.  I've tried to document this as well as I can.  I encourage you to inspect in person prior to purchase.  The car is located in Gaston, OR - even tho my ebay profile is based out of Las Vegas, NV.  The car is presently parked at my sisters house.  I bought it with intention of bringing home to Las Vegas, but then I found another car here that's already had all the work done ... so now I have two many things.  I have tried to document the condition as well as I can. Clear title 1974 VW Thing. The pan is in reasonably decent condition - I didn't see any rust holes in the pan.  The original car color appears to be yellow based on the color of the engine compartment.  There are a few body panel rust issues that would require cutting out and welding in fresh sheet metal and paint matching those areas.  The windshield frame has some rust that needs repair. The rear seats are in good condition, the front seats need reupholstering but have seat covers. The car runs and drives good up to 40 MPH... then does a pretty good wobble.  This may indicate the need for wheel alignments, steering stabilizer replacement or ball joint replacement. There is a bit of an exhaust leak and could benefit from some more carburetor tuning. The convertible top doesn't quite close - which could indicate a bent frame piece in the convertible top.  The latch on the passenger side for convertible top needs a new roll pin installed and the screws are missing to attach to the top frame.  The top material looks nearly brand new to me. Overall I think the pictures speak for themselves... this is a great driver with some mild tuning or a good start for a restoration if you go down that path.
