Rare 1946 Mercury Series 69M Club Convertible. Only 6,044 produced. This car was purchased from the son of the original owner. It was a 50's hot rod in LA with newer mercury running gear of the era installed. New tires were installed when it was parked and are still in perfect condition. It has been in storage in California since 1965. It still starts, runs and drives really well. The top is shredded but has the small rear window with it. The left rear window is cracked but the rest of the glass is good. Comes with the original keys and the column lock still works properly. Car is 100% complete with the exception of two hubcaps. The body is really good with no evidence of any accidents. It is a very solid LA car except for the normal surface oxidation here and there. There is no rust anywhere. This car is the most solid barn find I have ever seen. The speedometer reads 25,020 miles but I cannot guarantee it to be correct, although the son believes it to be the original mileage. It will need a gas tank and the brakes done to make it into a driver. The park brake works well and the car has been driven a short distance using it to stop the car.
