The Jeepster has been in the family for 50 years. It has always been stored in a dry building so very little rust. Chrome and pot metal parts are showing it's age but it is a very presentable old car. Paint is in fair condition as the pictures indicate. The Jeepster has always been an easy starter and is very reliable. We used the car for parades because the engine always runs cool. This is not a fast car and the O/D is not functional. A spare O/D unit is included in the bucket of spare parts and pieces. Jeepsters are not 4X4's but they are very light and geared vey low and will go about any where. We have set a low reserve on the Jeepster to help get it to a new home. I would help with the delivery for expenses up to 500 miles. The Jeepster is for sale locally. On Oct-17-14 at 07:12:38 PDT, seller added the following information: **10/17/2014** Revised description. Recieved several emails requesting info on rust. I added more pictures of the body floor pan and from under the Jeepster. The bottom of the car was rust proofed back in the 70's by my father-in-law when the body was off the frame during the restoration process. The material used was a hard, thick mastic material. The stuff was also applied to the interior/bottom of the fenders. I folded back carpeting on the interior to look for evidence of rust. I found the original asphalt sound deadening under the rugs. I enclosed interior pictures of the cab corners and found only light surface rust. I think this Jeepster's body is in good shape, I couldn't find any rust thru any where under neath.
