Thank you for viewing the auction for my 1989 BMW 635 CSI. My father owned this vehicle and restored it back in 1989. It was sold to a family friend and I bought it back about 2 years ago. This is one of only 10 635 CSI models imported into the US for the 1989 model year. this 635 is currently tag, insured, and driven on a regular basis. The motor is tight and strong. It does not se any oil and has been well maintained. The 4 speed automatic shifts proerly and tight. It had flush and service recently. Shfter cable was also replaced. tires and wheels are near new. Brakes have been done all the way around within the last 3000 miles. Suspension is good and steers correct. Although it steers whell the Steering wheel is off center so front end alignment is recommended. Interior is in decent shape. The driver seat was shot and currently has a manual seat in its place. Dash has tipical cracks. climate control works. Ac works (compressor good)but needs a charge. It has been converted to 134. There is (as seen in photos) typical rust in the quarters as well as rear panel. There is no structural rust whatsoever. Towers are excellent. Some in the floor pan but easily patched. Although mileage is high (311,000) and the odometor has not worked for the last 2000 miles or so this 635 has been well care for and is a solid and dependable driver. In addition the ground effects package is in good shape.. I hate to let her go but recent purchases (Z06 Vette) require that i sell of few of my loves. Feel free to call me with any questions.
