I have for sale a 1963 Ford Thunderbird 390 c.i. 4 bbl carb. This is the vehicles second time on ebay and as it didn't hit its reserve last time this time I am selling it NO RESERVE!!! The vehicle has 28,435 miles on it and I honestly believe this to be accurate. The car was originally a dealer promo car, has power seats, air conditioning, power windows, power steering, power brakes, and an AM radio, all of which work with the exception of the air conditioning but it would not take much effort to repair. The interior is in very good condition the rear seat is perfect the headliner is perfect, the dash and carpet are in very good condition, the only issue is the front seats, however they do make a original cover kit for them for $250 dollars. The exterior is rough but complete, all that is really needed is fresh paint and a new vinyl top, I even have the rear wheel well skirts which are hard to find and sell for $300 a pop. The car turns over and idles so quiet you can hardly hear it run. Only mechanical issues are the power steering leaks, and the car needs a new master cylinder, the brakes are scary but they do eventually stop the car. The car currently has a modern edelbrock carb on it but I do have the original holley and air cleaner. This car is for PICK UP ONLY and it is near the St. Louis area.On Oct-13-14 at 16:59:31 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: People keep asking me about the condition of the vehicle as far as rust goes. This car is 100% rust free. To the point that there isn't even surface rust underneath the car worth mentioning (you can still see baby blue paint underneath!!!). There are some areas that look like a dark red in pictures, I can assure you it is only where paint has chipped off down to primer. There are ZERO spots through to metal. This car is a PURE barn find, there is filth and dirt on it from its long stay in the barn I found it in, but I genuinely believe that the mileage on it is correct and it has not rolled over. This car sat for 30 years, I found it took it home and put a new fuel pump in it and it fired right up. Since then I added the carb, a new gas tank, completely redid the brakes on all 4 corners, and rebuilt the brake booster. All that is needed to make the vehicle drivable is a new brake master cylinder. All that is needed to make the car pretty is some body work around some very small dents and a fresh coat of paint!! No welding and patch paneling required. Just sanding and paint!! New vinyl tops are 175 dollars online. Panels to recover the seats are 150 dollars a seat online. I had quotes to repaint the car ranging from 1500 to 2500 bucks!! (and that's having the shop do everything). Further this car is completely complete. Fender skirts that sell for 300 bucks a piece are included, I have all the hubcaps I even have some of the original owners manuals. Still have the original carb and air cleaner. This thing was parked in this barn over 30 years ago stuff was stacked around it. I am the second owner and I have a clean and clear Missouri Title for it.
