1977 Chevrolet Corvette T-Top Sport Coupe Documented with all original paperwork and only 25,196 Miles Rare Corvette Orange with Black Leather Interior. Last year for this color. Any questions call (417)-773-0318 or (417)-425-9629 Two time Corvettes At Carlisle Celebrity Choice Award Winner 2008 and 2009 Numbers matching car Selling at No Reserve What a rare find. This 1977 Corvette has all the right options and colors. One of the nicest survivor original cars that I have seen and the most documented 1977 I have ever had. The car not only looks great, but drives out excellent. Everything is working on the car except the clock. Even the air conditioning is still in working condition. All buzzers and lights as well are working. Just a very nice crisp looking car with the original engine, original catalytic converter still on the car, all original window glass in excellent shape, all original interior with no rips or tears, and there is no old car smell at all as this car has been stored and maintained properly. The car has been serviced regularly and new Goodyear Eagle GT II tires (P225 70 R15) just installed this past couple of years and are balanced out nicely. The paint on this car is still in very good condition. The car shines well and shows good. All body lines are nice and gaps fit great. Original alarm activator is still mounted on drivers side fender. The paint has been buffed out and polished and only has a few very minor nicks from being driven 25,000 miles. Both front and rear bumpers are the original urethane ones and still have a lot of flex in them. Most people would think the car has been repainted but appears to be the original survivor paint in show quality condition. Must see to appreciate. This car has definitely been inside and away from the harsh sunlight. No fading anywhere. The interior is just amazing on the car. All dash, door panels, seats, steering wheel, console, instruments, are just as fresh as you can get them and they are untouched original! The carpet is just near perfect, and all instrument needles and lenses are crystal clear and bright in color. No cracks or repairs on the vinyl and leather whatsoever. Original jack and lug wrench still with the car along with the original leather t-top bags, all original labels and decals still intact, all seat belts retract as suppose to, and the original jack storage compartment tray that is removable is still in excellent shape. The engine compartment looks great and is in outstanding survivor condition. All components are there and the brake booster, master cylinder, engine and intake paint, all still look very fresh with little to no deterioration. The oil pan still has all of the original blue paint and looks good. Even the original under hood insulation is still in amazing shape. The underside of the car is clean and survivor looking with a good solid original frame. The car appears to have been lightly undercoated from the dealership back in the day and does not appear to have been done by any of the owners. Options and features include: L-48 350 C.I. Two time Corvettes at Carlisle Celebrity Choice Award Winner in 2008 and 2009. Both original awards along with all of the documentation and other papers shown in pictures all go with the sale of this car. 1977 Facts: 1977 was the last year for the straight back window in a Corvette. A new console held heater and air conditioning controls and accepted standard Delco radios due to its increased depth. A new steering column with a new design leather steering wheel positioned the steering wheel two inches closer to the instrument panel to provide a more of an "arms out" driving position, and easier entry and exit. Leather seats became standard for the first time in 1977, but a cloth-leather combination could be substituted at no cost. New option K30 speed control required automatic transmission. Effective with the vin # 1Z37X7S427373, the alarm activator was moved from the driver-side fender to the driver-side door lock. Between August 23rd and September 7, 1976 Flint Engine changed from orange paint to blue for Corvette engines. Thus, early production 1977 models were orange, later production were blue. The headlight dimmer and windshield wiper/washer controls were located on steering column stalks. Sunshades were redesigned to permit swinging to the side windows. The interior rearview mirror mounting point was relocated from above the windshield to the windshield itself. We reserve the right to end auction early as this car is for sale locally.
