Vehicle Detail

This beautiful 1962 MGA Mark II was built Jan 24-25 1962 which makes it very close to the end of the production of the MGA model. I am relisting it because after becoming the winning bidder "grand boulevard" disappeared from the face of the earth. It is being offered at NO RESERVE!. If you are high bidder at the end you win! It was restored prior to my owning it and the BRG paint is in excellent condition. There is no rust and no evidence of any rust repair. The MGA came from the factory with wire wheels, windscreen wipers, tonneau cover and MPH speedo. Mechanically it runs drive and stops well. The correct 1622 engine is detailed and the undercarriage is incredibly clean as the pictures show. The interior is excellent and the car is complete with tool kit, jack, side curtains and tonneau cover. Everything works as it should with the exception of the speedometer (needle jumps). Look at my PERFECT FEEDBACK (especially on the cars I've sold) after 15 years on eBay and bid with confidence. The MGA has a current clear title and I can and will ship worldwide. This is a beautiful car that should require nothing but to be enjoyed. I am happy to answer any questions. Since this is a true auction with no reserve if you are high bidder at the end, you are the new owner! Thanks! On Oct-12-14 at 13:45:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked by a number of people (since my description isn't clear) if the drivetrain is original. I believe it is the original 1962 MGA 1622 engine and transmission it left the factory with. As you may know the factory didn't note exactly which number engine went into which car so the Heritage Certificates will not note an engine number. There are a number of MG websites where you can calculate what the engine number should be and the engine in this car is in the exact number range for a car built in late January 1962. Also the gauges, speedometer etc. all have correct parts numbers for 1962. Hope this helps!
