You are bidding on a A6 Quattro wagon we received in consignment to sell. It was owned by a elderely couple for the last 10-12 years and since they don't drive anymore,car is for sale. The good: runs and drives,it was driven daily,mostly errands,rarely long distance.Several years ago a new timing belt was done by the dealer not aftermarket. AC blows cold,it is a fully optional car with front and rear heated seats,HID factory headlights,it seems like all options work:windows,sunroof,radio,power locks. We have 2 remote keys for the car. The bad: once in a while it will trigger the check engine light for a random misfire and misfire cyl 4,most likely will need a MAF sensor and a ignition coil and a tuneup,not always,most of the time runs smooth...also,turning in tight circle,you can hear the clicking from one of the CV's in the front. If you fill the tank ,you will smell gas,if you keep it below 3/4 its fine,the gasket from the fuel pump is tired,cheap part,involving labor(drop the tank to replace it). Exterior looks OK,many scratches,small dings,repainted bumpers due to parking lot scratches. You can drive the car home,it was driven every day till about 2 weeks ago,however,if you are not mechanically inclined,this car is not for you. NO RESERVE,car is a bargain for the right person.
