Remember how much fun these little Yugos were? Well, here is your chance to own probably the nicest one left in existence. This 1987 Yugo GV has been re-painted, re-upholstered and fine tuned. The car runs amazing, and shifts well. The engine is a Fiat based 1.1L 4 cyl putting out 53 horse power. This little engine gets the car down the freeway comfortably at 60mph, and even on a warm day here in California, she purrs all day and never gets above 165 degrees. Beside the motor is a four speed manual transmission that shifts smooth, and moves this car down the road great. The interior was mostly re-upholstered and looks exactly like the factory made it. The paint is new, and shows very well. I put in a new pioneer cd-mp3-am-fm radio in it, works great, but the stock speakers hinder the sound quality a bit. The car drives great, with very little slop in the steering wheel. Suspension is firm and has no rattles, or clunks. The engine doesnt leak, tick, or smoke and is very clean. This car is the more rare 50 state legal car, however it will not pass smog until new vacuum lines are ran, along with an e.g.r line. There is absolutely ZERO rust in this car, as it spent most of it's life in Nevada, near Reno. It carries a clean Nevada title, and is ready for the next owner to hop in, turn the key and enjoy this fine, little machine. I have several service records on the car, the original owners manual, and the spare tire is still the original and has never been used. The car has been a somewhat daily driver for me, and has 49,800 miles on it. Headlights, taillights, brake lights and blinkers all work. This car has power brakes and stop the car very quickly, and straight. E-brake works good too. The rear window wiper is missing, but the motor works great still. The original temperature gauge doesn't work, so an aftermarket one to the right of the steering column was installed and works accurately. I do not have the rear hatch key, so I had the lock picked, and I took the latch off, in order to open and close the hatch, without the key.
