Here is for sale very rare 1934 Dodge 5 Fire Windows Coupe. 3.7 Liter flathead engine, starts, runs without problem even on FRWY! Kept in the indoors all the time, that's why it's in that great Californian, no rust wholes/no rust condition! Body is very strong! The car is located in Sacramento, California! Headlights, horn signals work also. Buyer will get extra parts for the car: break master cylinder repair kit with piston, wheel cylinder repair kit, fuel pump, break shoes, full engine gasket set. Recently restored: Break cylinder, master cylinder, wheel cylinder. Suicide doors, rear hinged, open and close good, no sagging. Rumble leather seats, leather shows some signs of wear, can be used at this condition or re-upholstered for better look. Inside car seats are made from fabric, still usable, can be re-upholstered also. In general, the car is well taken care of. For the 80 year old it looks amazingly good! The car was invited to very many events and show About 20K miles. This 34 Dodge may well be one of the last excellent original example left in the entire country. If these cars made it through World War II, they were most likely torn up into hot rods by kids in the 40′s and 50′s. The 34 Dodge coupe made an ideal hot rod with its low cut windshield and five window cabin. It had a longer front clip than a Ford and therefore could accommodate a large V8 engine. Everything else about the car is excellent original. The Dodge cost around $700 when new while the Fords were half of that. As a result the 34 Dodge Coupe only found 5000 lucky buyers when new. In the agrarian economy of the 1930′s, the poor farmers drove Fords while the more successful farmers had Dodges. Inside seats are still in usable condition.
