97 chevrolet 3500 cab and chassis new 6.5 diesel engine from am general if you dont know who am general is there the company that still builds the 6.5 motor these are new cnc block and heads and all new internal parts and i also installed a new turbo,injection pump p.m.d box externally mounted and also has a new p.m.d box on the new pump for a backup if the other one goes bad as every one knows this was a problem with the 6.5. new glow plugs,glow plug timer new engine wiring harness for the glow plugs and the injection pump, transmission only has 60,000 miles on it ,motor has 6,000 miles yes only 6,000 miles installed it 4 months ago, rear tires have 75% tread life left front tires will need to be replaced within the next 5,000 miles also has a new fuel tank installed 2 months ago,new steel flatbed installed 6 months ago i also rebuilt the rear end 2 years ago sand blasted and painted the wheels last year and istalled 2010 center caps on them.i purchased this truck from a friend 3 years ago when it came out of texas as a cab and chassis.yes it was a texas truck most of its life so it dont have the rust issues that we have here in ohio,this truck still has the original paint and never had any rust repair and dont need any,this is a super nice truck that can be driven any where.On Oct-01-14 at 05:16:06 PDT, seller added the following information: i also forgot to mention that the power steering hoses,serpentine belt,water pump,idler pulleys,vacume pump,starter and flywheel were also replaced with all new factory units,and if the reserve is met i will install 2 new front steer tires.you will have to buy a new truck to get one any better.call between 6am 10 pm ohio time,765-860-3448
