Shaft Drive. Fuel injection. In excellent working condition. I've owned this motorcycle for 11 years and it has always been regularly driven. Everything works on it except the odometer, which stopped several years ago just short of 60,000 mi. Actual mileage is about 75,000. Has a Givi top back and one side bag (not shown). The other side bag was lost somewhere along the way. Has brand new (July) set of $450 tires and a new inspection (Virginia- located in Virginia Beach). In the eleven years I've ridden this bike, it has never failed me. I perform the routine maintenance and ride it. Each time I take it to the dealer for its annual state inspection they ask when I'm going to trade in for a new one. I ask when do they think this one will stop running and the reply is "never if you keep riding it". Well I keep riding it and it keeps running. The only parts I've had to replace in eleven years (other than tires, a battery and maintenance) is a light relay and the center stand. You can have no worries how ever far you want to take this bike, locally or a ride across the state. It is the classic BMW sport tourer, rides like a tour bike and handles like a sport bike.
