Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1976 Mustang II Cobra clone 4-speed. Rebuilt 302 V8 motor, bored 30 over with a mild cam, GT 40 heads, Holley 4 barrel carb, and dual exhaust. This thing is fast and handles wonderfully. Car has power front disc brakes, rear drums, and power steering. It has factory air conditioning; all parts are there, but the compressor (included) is not mounted and factory T-Tops, which are rare in this body style. Interior is in great shape. It was completely restored by the previous owner, with 100+ receipts totaling over $8000, dated 1992-1994, and was finished about 10 years ago. I had a new clutch installed less than a year ago and it has a new water pump, new fuel pump, cleaned fuel lines, new fuel filter, new thermostat, and new hoses and belts. Tires are in great shape. Odometer reads 9,500 miles. Comes with original owner's manual, Hayne's repair manual, new oil filter, and fitted water-resistant California Car Cover. I installed bumper guards on the front and rear bumpers with 3M tape; easy to remove if desired. Now for the flaws: it has a few spots of minor surface rust around the driver's side door and on two of the wheels (all seen in the photos), a small ding in the same door (so subtle that I couldn't even get it to photograph), a few chips in the paint, is missing a radio (previous owner removed it for some reason; because of this, I removed the antennae, which comes included in a box full of extra parts), a small crack on the rear bumper and one of the taillights (also seen in the photos), the struts on the hatch don't fully support it when opened, the tach works but isn't reading accurately, and the fuel gauge and windshield wipers aren't working. Originally a Florida car. Starts up every time (if you're in the northeast, you know what a hellishly cold winter we had and it didn't give me a single problem throughout it), runs great, shifts great. I typically drive it once or twice a week and I've taken it on multiple 400+ mile trips and it's always been reliable. This thing turns heads and starts conversations everywhere I bring it. It's been very well cared for and all in all is a super clean example of a rare Mustang. Clean title ready to be transferred. This makes me want to buy my car all over again. Car is also for sale locally, so I have the right to end this auction at any time. Would be open to a trade for a third-gen Camaro 305 5-speed or a 6-speed C4 Corvette. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thanks for looking. See below for more photos of car, video of it starting up for the first time in a week and being driven, and a small fraction of some of the receipts for the work done to it.
