I bought this a while back with the intention of restoring it, but have not been able to do so, and so it's time to move on. Disclaimer: The mileage on the odometer is about "47600", but because of the age of the truck, it probably rolled over at least once. The previous seller said the mileage was 147K, but I can't verify that. In PA, the mileage is exempt for a vehicle this age, and this truck had an engine rebuild in the past couple years. This is a 34-year old SUV. It is a K20 3/4 ton (although title shows 1/2 ton), and a Chevy (although the replacement grille is a GMC). I was told several things about this truck by the previous seller (a dealer in NJ) which were not correct, or were said to be working but were not. For instance, there is no cruise control. The engine was said to have 7K miles on a Jasper rebuild, but seems to need a tune-up. I was told it had a 1-ton suspension rebuild but can't confirm that. Has running boards. TH400 transmission. Class 4 hitch. Considering its age, it's in pretty good shape, but here are the issues that I know about: Rust-out around the rear wheel arches (a standard Chevy factory truck option, lol)Rust spots on driver rocker panel Dents and small rust on the rear [barn] doors. (The truck was painted not long ago by the previous owner, but one reason was to conceal this rust) Radio is an aftermarket item with touch screen. More like "bash" screen. It allegedly has AM/FM/CD/GPS and rear-cam capability, but I haven't been able to get it to workClimate control block is broken. I am including a replacement from LMC Truck (a place you would be wise to get acquainted with)Power window switch barely works for driver window, and not at all for the other windowsHas a security/power lock system. The locks work, not sure about the security partInside rearview mirror is off the windshield. Seems the windshield was tinted, and the attempt to re-attach the mirror on top of the tint film was not successful. I believe it can be stuck back on after the attachment point is scraped down.Ignition switch is missing the finger "wings", making it harder to turn the switchEngine starts but batteries (yes, there is an aux battery in the engine bay) are not holding a charge for more than a few days. Engine idles a bit rough and low. I have not opened the sunroof because I don't want to tempt fate and start a leak. It does not leak as it is.The manual locking hubs are very tight. I sprayed them with penetrating oil to unlock themAlignment needs checking All that said, it's not a bad truck to drive and made a 70 mile trip, plus several local trips, without issue. It includes a "personal" plow with mounts and roller wheels (can be raised and lowered from in the truck, but angle is manually set), and the unit was not used commercially. Tires are in good condition. All doors open and close properly, but driver's side needs an adjustment. Note: I am not a dealer in motor vehicles.
