The sale includes the convt plus a 2 dr parts car. According to the story the previous owner drove the parts car back from California and transferred the motor, trans and front clip to the convt. As a result the front clip is rust free and the motor compartment looks complete and ready to run. There is a block in the trunk of the parts car which I assume is from the convt. Can't tell if the motor is stuck or not as the starter motor just spins free. The parts car had 31000 miles at that point. The convt body has rust in the rockers, quarters, and around the back of the trunk. The parts car has had the rust free lower quarters cut off and they are pictured. Also the rockers were removed from the parts car but they are lost. The rear trunk area in the parts car is decent and would need to be used to repair the rust on the convt. The main floor of the trunk looks quite good. There is a little rust in the area of the feet inside especially the drivers area--see pictures. The area under the front and rear seat looks good. The interior has been removed and lost. I have picked up a clean power seat and rear springs as well as some panel pieces which are pictured. The parts car does have power windows plus there are extra power motors in one of the boxes. The wires on the convt are 54 Skylark rims. The top assembly is complete and in the good condition. The original tag on the cowl is there but the door tag is missing. All the bumpers are in very nice replatable condition. The visors are perfect. The dashes are complete and look to be in good condition. The parts car has the auto dimmer accessory and clock too. One fender skit is missing but the other is in nice condition. The lower back trim is missing but I have a friend that has all that and is willing to sell, so I will put the buyer (only) in touch with him. He also has other parts that will be helpful. The buyer of the convt gets the parts car also. It can be striped here or removed. There are pictures of the trunk area and interior dash area from the parts car. There is a title for the parts car also. Upon the completion of the auction please contact me to work out pick up times. There will not be a 'buy it now' price.
