This is a rare 1947 short bed pickup. The very first of the so called new "Advanced Design" by General Motors. This is considered the second design of the new trucks for 1947. Early 1947 trucks were the old design from 1941. This truck has a 270 cu inch 6 cylinder engine. It has 4 on the floor transmission. Short step side bed with gas tank underneath. I bought the truck from a man who bought it in Kansas. The truck has been gone threw over the years with many new parts. Most recent new parts, fuel pump, radiator, rear tires, paint job, and some rechroming of parts. It's in original condition with no customizing done on it. There are a few spots on paint job that show wear but overall looks good. It is a 5 window cab with those wrap around windows. The cab is a custom cab with more chrome, heater, and radio. The truck was changed from a 6 volt to a 12 volt years ago. I have additional parts for the truck that will go with truck. Truck will need to be picked up in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
