The Avalanche is in excellent condition. I recently had it completely detailed inside and out. It looks great. It has the normal wear and tear of an eleven year old truck, but no major dings, dents, or rust anywhere.The engine runs very smoothly. The transmission shifts quietly when it's suppose to. I had the oil changed, new plugs, replaced the knock sensor wiring harness, intake manifold gasket set, engine wire set, air filter, and fuel filter. I also added the box covers. The truck was purchased from a private owner who was also a mechanic. He told me that the transmission was replaced last year, and that it had only 20,000 miles on it. He provided me with a written statement to that fact. Not being a mechanic, I can't confirm that. But I can attest to the fact that the transmission shifts beautifully.The tires are in good condition, and in the final analysis, this is a very nice truck that has many miles of life left in it.
