The chassis is a 1973 Pontiac Firebird from the factory and the engine is a factory 73 date code Pontiac 455 which has been completely rebuilt. .020 on the mains, .040 on the rods, bored 30 over. New Mutha Thumper cam (intake lift .479, ex. lift .465, adv duration 279 297,duration @ .050 227 241, lobe separation angle 107) new pistons, valves, rings, lifters, all mechanical components to include oil pump, fuel pump, water pump, hoses, belts, plugs, plug wires and all. All that can be said about the motor and transmission in the car that makes an ultimate bad to the bone driver is that it is an unbelievably impressive car that can grab a bark in all four gears.
