Vehicle Detail
1954 Chevy 2 door sedan .... in storage the last five years, few miles driven, beautiful straight body, with a serious chop! Note the forward slope on the pillar (beautiful touch!). Many hours of work to create this beautiful paint job. Here is a list of some of the parts used to build ... mustang 2 front end, disc brakes, Chevy 10 bolt rear end, Bear's 3 link, Air bagged Rear, 305 2 bbl, A/T, P/B, lake pipes with baffles (sounds really great!) and Coker Classic Wide White Walls. Cody has posted two videos on you tube ... the first is a great walk around showing the car very well, if you have interest in this beautiful car you really need to see these videos! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLWrf3LlLuM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNiQwEp0Zg4 This car does have some imperfections in the paint, it is not a show car, but was built to be a driver. Was in a magazine in 2006. Cody's father had this car built, then was ill a year after completion. Car has been in indoor storage the last five years. Cody has sold the building so the cars will be listed and with a very low reserve. No working Windshield wipers, no headliner, back quarter windows don't roll down ... all glass is green tinted, no chips or scratches. Couple of issues noticed: from sitting, fuel pump dried out, a new one has been installed, as well as the carburetor float ... gas tank was removed & cleaned ... not sure if gas gauge is reading accurately. Mileage is unknown as the car had no speedo cable, but it does have one now ... speedo works! Gasket around gas cap has dried out and should be replaced. Brakes are all new, car stops great, but brake pedal stick sometimes on return, could be from lack of use. We have been driving the car around the yard trying to be sure everything works. Cody was only 14 when his dad built this car, so he doesn't have all the history ... but the car speaks for it self as being quite awesome! Please note, as with all my recent auctions, this is for an estate. For info please call Cody 1-204-485-6769 Car is located near Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. There is a reliable local shipper we have used before, if needed. (due to a buyer purchasing a 68 Charger with a NSF bank draft, the car will not leave the yard until payment has cleared the bank) I will be listing his other cars one at a time ... On Sep-10-14 at 11:25:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Will be adding some more pictures, and putting up another video soon ... depending on the weather. This is a Manitoba car, has a clear title in Cody's name. Here the title is called a TOD (transfer of ownership document) and is issued only by the provincial government. On Sep-11-14 at 20:54:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added pictures of interior and some suspension .... today we put the car on a hoist and did a video of all the undercarriage, under hood, walk around and interior ... I will post the link as soon as it finishes uploading. On Sep-11-14 at 21:33:57 PDT, seller added the following information: There are now about 40 pictures in my photobucket ... take a look http://s853.photobucket.com/user/99cuda/library/ Thankyou! On Sep-11-14 at 22:18:25 PDT, seller added the following information: and finally ... the new video is loaded ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iLWWIy2FH4 this is 10 minutes, but shows the car quite well .... if you are considering bidding, please take the time to watch the video!! Thankyou! 99cuda
