Up for sale is a 1989 BMW K100 RS w/ ABS with 55,xxx miles. Color: White/Blue Class: Sport Touring Size: longitudinal four 1000CC Drive: Shaft Ignition: Bosch L- Jetronic fuel injection Transmission: 5 speed foot shift Suspension: Telescopic forks and single side swing arm Brakes: Brembo triple disks w/ ABS Ties: Meltzer (85% tread) This bike is a special edition BMW with a pearl blue and white color scheme. Overall the bike is in good condition and rides even better. This BMW is equipped with factory integrated hard saddle bags and rear luggage rack (not pictured). Bike also has a Corbin seat with backrest slot. ABS brakes are also equipped on both wheels and can be turned on and off with a switch on the handle bars. Bike also has flashers, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, and current gear indicator. The bike was completely gone through over the past few weeks. Clutch splines, transmission splines, drive shaft, and final drive splines are all in excellent condition and were just lubes/greased in the last 50 miles. The fuel system was also updated with new fuel pump, dampener, mounting ring, fuel filter, fuel lines, and injectors. This bike handles and rides like what you would expect from BMW. It shifts smooth and rides wonderful. This BMW is in immaculate mechanical condition. There are two cosmetic flaws that stand out past normal wear on a 25 year old motorcycle. The first is a spill mark from brake fluid that was not properly cleaned up. The stain is on the left hand side ABS pump and mounting bracket. The second and more serious cosmetic issue is that the bike was bumped and tipped over on its right hand side while parked. The mirror and saddle bag have minor scratches. However, the lower fairing was scrapped and cracked. Pictures are representative of damage.
