Well the deal fell through with the winning bidder due to insufficient funds on this little bike so its for sale once again: I am selling this Honda CT70 for a friend who's parents bought it for her brand new in 1978 from the local Honda dealer just 20 miles down the road from where we both grew up. She found the original bill of sale/title application when getting the title for me. That's always a cool bonus! The bike has just 1,793 actual miles so you know that it was hardly ridden over the last 36 years. The black color scheme is a one year only option. Do a search for these and you probably won't even find a picture of another one like it. It is a 3 speed automatic. No clutch to worry about. It starts with one kick and runs like a Honda. Nice and smooth. No leaks of any fluid whatsoever. The head light doesn't work unfortunately but the tail light and turn signals do. It will need a new battery for the blinkers to work properly though as they only blink now with the rpm's revving up high. The little yellow blinker indicator light works as well. Still has the tool pouch and the rubber battery cover underneath the seat pan. This bike was never abused and would be perfect to tool around town or be used as a pitbike at the local race track. The bike has a clear Michigan title. Ask any questions that you may have and I'll pass them on to the owner. $100.00 paypal deposit required by the auction winner and the remainder to be paid in cash or cleared check before the bike leaves my property. I will help a shipper load the bike up if need be. I also have the contact number of a shipper who lives in Vista CA but is from Michigan originally so he has family still here. That being said, he doesn't mind coming to Michigan like most other shippers do so he may be a little more affordable. Most shippers consider Michigan a dead end stop.
