Vehicle Detail
I am selling this 1967 Fastback for my friend Dave. He had big plans to make it an Elanore but he is a workaholic and has no time. 1967 FB Clean title rebuilt 302 V8 Automatic transmission front disc brakes 9" rear end interior like new fold down rear seat bumpers and chrome are in great condition new quarters in 2012 painted in 2012, paint job is a 10 footer. Its great for a daily driver but not a car show paint job. You will be getting a running, driving, good looking fastback to use as is or modify to your liking. I have scene total rust bucket fastbacks go for 10-15K with no motor or tranny. On Aug-29-14 at 13:17:56 PDT, seller added the following information: ALL of the pics I posted were taken today, 8-29-2014. I also had my wife take some video of me driving it around so you can here and see it going. I think I have to upload it on youtube then add the link to my ebay listing. I have had a ton of emails / and questions already, as I expected because it is a 67 fastback and they are pretty hard to come by these days. YES, the floor pans have been replaced and new ones welded in. I will work on getting pics in a few mins. Trunk is solid as well, I will remove the spare and the cover and post those today as well. ThanksOn Aug-29-14 at 20:21:20 PDT, seller added the following information: So many emails and questions, I took and uploaded as many pics today as I could. My friend bought this car after shopping for a long time. Like I said earlier the car is a 10' footer. Looks great driving down the road but is not a show car. If you want a show car, 1967 FB it will coast you a good 40-50K. That being said, I think a new paint job would do this car wonders. This paint job is far from professional. Put a little time into the paint and you have a super nice car. His big idea was to dump another 20K or so into it and make it a restomod / Elanore replica but has changed his mind. If the winning bidder wants to ship the car I can assist with that. I know he had it shipped from Minnesota to Colorado and it was 800, just so you can get an idea on shipping prices. Thx On Aug-30-14 at 02:10:35 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, reserve has been met. So to all the people sending me emails about buying it now and making offers to buy it that can not happen anymore. Reserve has been met, auction has 6 days to go and has to play out. I have received many emails about the condition of the car. 1st, I'm not an old car person, I do like them but prefer new. I love Mustangs and have a 2010 Shelby Gt500 myself. If this was my car I wouldn't change interior or motor but I would media blast the body, and get her down to bare metal and put a fresh coat of paint on. I'm super picky and that's just what I think it needs in the long run. It's driver quality now, a nice, rare and hard to find 67 FB. It is not a fully restored 50,000 dollar car. I don't know what these 67, 68 FBs are worth but the emails and questions have been overwhelming so apparently it's worth what people are willing to pay these days. We will be out of town in the Mtns for the long weeknd and will have limited cell coverage. I will answer your questions when we are back on Monday. I posted 24 pics, the max that ebay will allow hopefully the pics and details I have given are enough for you to make your own decision on the car.
