This is a 1993 Cadillac Sedan Deville. The car has overheated and will need to be fixed. Coolant is pouring out of the water pump area. So, apparently a new water pump will be needed. My guess is that the intake gasket and/or the head gasket(s) have blown as a result of running hot also. The car does start right up and run, however, for whatever that is worth. You can't really drive it more than onto a tow truck, however, because it just heaves coolant right out of the water pump area. The transmission shifts perfectly so this would be a cheap way to get a good used transmission with low miles if that's all you needed. I think one of the exhaust manifolds is cracked because the exhaust is making a noise that in my experience has meant a cracked manifold. This noise was present prior to the overheating/water pump issue so it is presumably unrelated to that event. The AC is not cooling. There is some body damage in the right rear area of the car from hitting a deer. The paint has lost the clear coat in several spots. If you are buying the car for parts then you don't need any of my advice. if you are buying it with the plan of fixing it, however, let me advise you not to buy it unless you are prepared to rebuild the (upper) engine. At a minimum the heads should be pulled and checked for warpage. There is a $160 deposit due immediately via Paypal in order to end the auction. The remaining $500 is due in cash when you pick up the car. I am giving you 14 calendar days after ending the auction to pick up the car and pay the remaining balance of $500 in cash. If the car is not picked up within 14 days of the auction close the $160 deposit will be forfeited. There are no exceptions to this policy so please do not use Buy-it-Now until you are confident that you can pick up the car within 14 days and pay the remaining balance of $500 in cash. If you are going to be having the car shipped and will not be able to pay cash in person there is one additional type of payment I can accept: A cashier's check issued by Suntrust bank or Wells Fargo bank ONLY. Let me be clear: It must be a cashier's check issued by one of these two banks ONLY. I can not accept a Money Order no matter who it is issued by. I also can not accept a personal check. I also can not accept a cashier's check issued by any other bank besides Wells Fargo or Suntrust. So, in review, the deposit is paid via Paypal. The remaining amount is paid either in cash in person or a cashier's check issued by Suntrust Bank or Wells Fargo Bank if you are not able to be there in person. Additionally, if paying via cashier's check I will have to make sure it is cleared prior to releasing the vehicle. I am able to deliver the car for you if needed at a cost of $1 per mile distance from the 30009 zip code with a $100 minimum. So, if you live 500 miles away I can deliver the car for a total of $500. If you live 75 miles away the cost will be a total of $100. Depending on where you live this may or may not be the best deal you can get for shipping but I just wanted to give you the option. If you do want me to deliver the car please let me know so i can set up another eBay listing for the shipping cost. The shipping cost will need to be paid in advance via Paypal before I leave to deliver the car.
